Great spirits, great staff and the atmosphere is a wonderful vibe.
Love it that they bring in a variety of musicians.
They have certain areas you can reserve for a special occasion or party.
Oh, before I forget, the food trucks are off the hook delicious.
Plus, They are a member of #HarvestHosts.

I liked the atmosphere; but it was a bit too close to the farm for some in the group. The beer was good, but it just didn’t hit home for us.

It was 97 degrees out when we arrived at 1871 but it was Not hot there! So much shade and places to sit under shade trees or at the bar inside! We did a fun paint and sip with Rebecca, it was so fun and she took her time and even gave us a little bracelet with a charm representing the art we did. I think she’s there on Thursdays? And with every project you do with her, you choose a new charm for your bracelet!
The wine steward, Stephen at 1871 was also so nice and personable. He seemed to really enjoy working there and spent lots of time answering all of our various wine questions. He was super knowledgeable about the wine, offered info lbuying 3 bottles verses one etc and best way to get the best price but wasn’t pushy at all, and he gave a great pour!
We will be back!

Not such a bad brewery and winery. It was freaking awesome actually. The beer was pretty good and the staff seemed pretty attentive. There was a food truck on scene that had decent stuff too. The beer wasn't tooooo expensive. I think my favorite thing about 1781 was the aura and scenery. Very tranquil and peaceful. Plenty of seating as long as it's not raining.

I like this place! We had a couple of flights to sample their beers. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose here. I recommend the sour and the Appalach. They have a winery and cigar lounge on site. These guys support first responders and the military. They have food trucks on weekends and the place has a family-friendly vibe.

Great place to sit outside, have a beer or wine. We got 2 pints, the 2 flights of wine. Disappointed there were no beer flights.
All the wine was great! We left with 4 bottles.
There were also 2 food trucks. Will go back if in the area.

I recently visited 1781 Brewery, and it was an amazing experience! The beer selection was fantastic, with a great variety of flavors to suit any palate. Beautiful place to find a seat in the lawn in front of the music stage, near the playground area since it is so family friendly!, In the shade under the twinkling lights, over by the cigar store...so many options. I love this location. All the patrons are friendly with each other which just helps with the atmosphere and pleasure if the visit. Dogs are welcome on a leash and you can bring food with you or buy from the food truck. Depending on if groups have chosen to celebrate there or if there is popular music and fantastic weather it can be crowded. Follow them on their social media for events.
Slight Addition: even more good news. They have different areas that can be reserved for parties and one is a pavilion. Looked like a great size! Slushy drink option on the beer side during my last visit. And always worth noting spots to sit and or stand in the shade and sun. Enjoy!
