This was my favorite tour on our visit to Oahu. The owners were knowledgeable and entertaining. I loved how they got to know the guests to engage them with the information. It was fun to learn about how cacao grows and is produced into chocolate. Completely changed how I view chocolate and introduced me to true high-quality chocolate, as theirs was divine. I loved learning about the history of how many crops were brought to Hawaii and the many plants that grow there. We even learned a bit about honey making! Definitely recommend this tour! It is well worth the drive over from Honolulu!

Kuddos to the 2 veteran owner of 21 Degrees Estate it was phenomenal! It was both educational and engaging, offering valuable insights into cacao farming and the meaning behind the farm’s name. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing free mosquito spray for guests.

Beyond cacao, the tour included a quick look at their beehive, a taste of fresh turmeric, and an up-close experience with cacao trees. One of the highlights was sampling six different types of cacao, including cacao nibs. I particularly enjoyed the cacao with turmeric—it felt like a healthy option with its coconut milk base and 85% cacao content. They also offer two types of ice cream: one with dairy and another featuring the refreshing hibiscus passion punch. However, I wish they had a dairy-free cacao ice cream option, especially for lactating moms.

Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I love that it supports local Hawaiian agriculture. My only suggestions for improvement would be to add labels or educational signs for the cacao trees, making it easier to absorb information while exploring. Additionally, while the honeybee segment was interesting, it might be helpful to shorten it so the focus remains on cacao, especially for visitors who may not be as interested in beekeeping. Lastly, with young children (keiki) on the tour, the heat made engagement challenging—perhaps some shaded areas or seating could enhance comfort.

Highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in cacao and local Hawaiian farming!

We had a great time on the tour of the 21 degrees cocoa farm. We learned about the area, canoe crops, and of course cocoa farming and chocolate making. And the chocolate tasting was so good! You will never want a "candy" chocolate bar again!

By far one of our highlights when visiting Oahu. The knowledge and the love this amazing couple have for their farm was a true experience. The chocolate tour was full of knowledge. We stayed away from the tourists traps and instead had an enchanting experience learning about coffee. We highlight recommend!

Amazing experience with Michael and Maria. I really enjoyed not only hearing but seeing their farm and the process from tree to bean. Their chocolate is so complex and I was amazed at the different flavors in their harvests. You won’t regret spending a couple of hours in this beautiful environment learning about the best bean on earth!
If they have the pop culture popsicles made from their farm products they are to die for.

The tour is all but touristy. The owners are so welcoming and authentic, they really make a difference.
