It really helped us feel comfortable with taking them home and getting them set up. I've had a few questions after we've gotten home and Emily has been very prompt in getting back to me which I really appreciate. We just love the 4 we got. Absolutely WONDERFUL. We recently purchased two bucklings to keep as pet wethers. The entire process was seamless and so well laid out—this family absolutely cares about their goats and the animal’s welfare after they go home with their new owners.

We left with a detailed information packet and two very healthy and extremely friendly wethers.

Our family already can’t wait to buy two does next year!!

Can’t recommend getting goats anywhere else—if we ever move away I’d pay to have 6E goats shipped to me and be happy about it.

The goat classes, mentoring, support and friendships we have gained from 6E Farmstead are absolutely invaluable. We have become confident goat owners due to the amazing education that came with our goats. And speaking of the goats, I have never had a more friendly and loving interaction with goats, not just the ones I have now but also from the goats 6E Farmstead has in their herd.

I've wanted pet pigs for a long time and stumbled across the Kune Kune breed online. After about a year of research, reading books, and readying our property, I was finally ready to bring some Kune's home. I found 6E Farms on Facebook and their location was in driving distance so I got in touch with them. From the get go they were friendly, responsive, and willing to share info and answer my questions, which were many. In fact, I sent a full page of questions and Emily was kind enough to answer all of them for me, which helped me greatly as I constructed stalls and fenced areas and purchased items for feeding, water, and general care. On pickup day, my wife and I drove to Stoneyford and 6E Farms. I was immediately impressed by their facilities and herd, and Edwin, Emily, and the kids gave us a tour that furthered my conclusion that their animals were well cared for, healthy, and loved. Patiently they explained their set up for the pigs, answered our questions about caring for them, and about the breed. They spent several hours with us and made sure all our questions were answered before we committed to taking our pigs. We adopted three young barrows and left 6E happy, confident, and supported as they told us to get in touch with any future questions or issues. I have taken them up on this several times and Emily has been a great resource for us, always willing to share her expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend 6E and feel lucky to have gotten our pigs from such expert, thoughtful, and caring breeders. The Kune Kune's we got from them are healthy, friendly, and enjoying life on our ranch. Thank you Emily, Edwin, and the other 4 "E's" for your help, advice, and expertise! We hope to "adopt" more Kune's from you down the road!

We did a lot of research before choosing a reputable kunekune breeder. What influenced my decision to go with 6E was their emphasis on the importance of education, mentorship, & evidence based research on farming practices/general husbandry. Emily was extremely helpful and willing to share her wealth of knowledge before selecting our pig. Even after bringing our pig home, she provided mentorship with my plethora of questions. I still consult with Emily when I have questions, as I feel confident that her answers come with competence gained from years of experience and evidenced based research and applied practice. It is clear 6E takes great pride in all the experience they have gained in raising kunekune, & they continue to support others getting started by sharing their experiences & having the willingness to teach. We went here as a Girl Scouts field trip. It was so much fun, all of the girls loved it. We all learned about baby goats, baby pigs, and even got to milk a goat. It was so informative and the family leading this is so friendly and handled our group really well. Will definitely be going back again and again.
