We used to stop at Acme Bread in Berkeley to buy bread and breakfast croissants on our way to our daughter’s house instead we get all of it at Faria. Everything is delicious. The country loaf is a great choice. The ham and cheese croissants are wonderful.
We bought a panettone today. So good!

Their food is so good and some dishes are very unique. We are visiting from Ohio so we could only come in 2x but we'll be back when we visit family again.

I had the pleasure of trying the Turkish eggs and Smoked Salmon toast at Faria and I must say, I was absolutely amazed. Must-try if you find yourself in Folsom.

The smoked salmon toast was a delightful combination of flavors with the crisp and toasted bread.

As for the Turkish eggs, they were a true standout. The perfectly rich, tangy taste made for an unforgettable experience.

Overall experience at Faria was impressive, perfect for a leisurely weekend breakfast or brunch. #SupportLocal

The ham and cheese croissants are possibly my favorite for breakfast. I love the burnt Basque cheesecake. I was saddened to learn the coffee cake is now only available at the Broadway bakery and not at Folsom anymore. I’ve had some of your cake slices you sell and they tend to be overly sweet and don’t have much of an earthy or rustic flavor, for example, using molasses or brown sugar might give them a more earthy flavor.

If you want to be mesmerized by foodie fantasies of Yummies from around the world with high-quality ingredients and craft, this is your place. This is my first time visiting the Folsom location and I was definitely impressed with the expansion of the menu.

I wanted to like this place, but didn’t. I would get a pastry, but not their food again. $60 and not worth it, in our experience.

Good concept, not great execution. I got the Turkish eggs and they were completely cold and sitting in pooled oil. I know the oil is part of the dish, but it was enough to seem soupy. I will say, it was flavorful, but a bit rich for breakfast for me, and just hard to enjoy and feel satisfied when the food was so cold.

Someone with me got the croissant sandwich and that was better and warm.

Cortado was good and great temperature.

I like the minamalist vibe, but also hard to enjoy because it’s cold inside the space for November - cold air blowing on the tables, so not at all a cozy cafe on a cold, rainy day. Doesn’t make you want to stay and enjoy the space, just get out as soon as you can, but maybe that’s what they want so people don’t linger?

Idk, just definitely not what I had hoped.

Saw their stall during my visit to Saturday Farmers market in Folsom. I heard of this bakery and haven’t had a chance to visit their actual bakery. There was a short line up on their stall and display of the available delicious pastries on the table so I decided to try it. They have a chalk board on the side with their pricing and I must admit it was quite pricy.

- almond croissant: for me, the croissant was a tad over-baked (a bit too crunchy for my liking) but the filling was good and not too sweet
- semlor bun: the chantilly cream was heavenly delicious! Creamy & perfect level of sweetness

I would love to visit the actual bakery and try more items on the menu.

UPDATE:
It's our new favorite local weekend breakfast spot! We went here multiple times and they changed up some of the menu every so often. My must have is hole egg! The other seasonal menu can be hit or miss.

- Hole egg: DELICIOUS! It's my favorite & I have it every time I go there now. The brioche toast was soft, fluffy, and buttery. The avocado cream on to was creamy - just heavenly. The thinly sliced radish gave a nice crunch to the dish. The chili oil gave a bit of heat & complemented the dish perfectly. The poached egg was cooked perfectly.
- JK: just ok. The brioche toast was heavenly (fluffy and buttery). The jam & cream were just ok - not my favorite combo
- Smore's pot: goood! the chocolate pudding was luscious, smooth, and not too sweet. The marshmallow layer was sweet enough for the whole bite. The honey cracker on top was still crunchy.
- Strawbrûlée toast: odd combination for me. The cream cheese had strong blue/goat cheese taste to the point that my hubby thought the cream was turning bad. The miso bread was just ok - couldn't really taste the miso and it tasted more like sourdough.
