Rosa & Pedro (the owners) are the sweetest people and their food is outstanding. I highly recommend the crispy tacos but literally everything I've tried on the menu I've liked. Our town is so lucky to have this place!

I was looking for a place to eat and came here because of the reviews I saw online. I'm sure glad I found this place! The quesabirrias were delicious! The horchata was tasty and was homemade. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Love this Mexican restaurant. My family has been eating here for years. A nice spot for Forestville and Graton people to eat. The family who runs it is super sweet. They are very attentive and make the food quickly. I love their Veggie Burritos. Great for take-out or sitting outside during Covid. Easy available parking out front or on the side.

Kinda a strange place in the middle of no where. There defiantly is a pretty tense vibe here. I entered the restaurant unassumingly, and immediately felt something was off. It just doesn't feel right in there. The place was very empty on a Friday night during a holiday weekend. Like the other reviews stated, the owner mentioned some odd lines regarding covid 19. The female owner is very alert, and interested in anyone not from the area. You can tell not much ever goes on here. Her and her friend who hangs out, will have a bunch of questions that are totally unrelated to the restaurant that are quite personal that they will ask you. You will stand out if you are not an older person on a fixed income. This is really in the middle of no where. I have driven by before and noticed it mostly closed. I think this place is decent/ok. The prices are petty high and the quality is not reflected in high prices. It has a really bizarre tiered pricing system for cash or credit. You pay a few cents extra for credit like its a gas station. Strange. La Rosa Market is a slow, empty place with not a lot of business in a remote area. Its got a real back country vibe, not for the faint of heart, but the food is decent, nothing to complain about. The owner said she has some sort of meat connection through a family member, so the meat is fresh and its pretty good, but its defiantly diffrent. Tasted pretty fresh to me Overall, this place is strange and really really weird.

We were referred to your restaurant by a sweet lady from Guernville. Being originally from the bay and now living in the Midwest we were pleasantly surprised when we stopped in to your place. From the first hello we knew your place would be amazing boy I'm still craving your chorizo burrito and my husband is craving the tamales. You treated us like family from the moment we walked in. I'm already dreaming of planning our next trip out there. We hope to make it an annual trip. Everytime we will be at your place for amazing food? Wonderful to meet you both. Now you need to come to the Midwest?

Every visit is so easy, very sweet people running it. Food is exceptional, always good. After being a customer of a long time Mexican food restaurant in Santa Rosa Ca, that after 20+ yrs has changed for the worse. I’m so glad to have La Rosas market for my Mexican food cravings, bonus of not having to go far from home for great food and sweet people. Prices are great too, definitely my favorite now. Support local businesses, better then any chain restaurants by far.

Called to order a burrito, mis heard what I'm saying because she is one of the 95 percent of food workers that assume and do not listen, thought I asked if they had French bread, immediately said were a Mexican food place and went to hang up, I said please I still want to order food and you're the only place in town, I asked again do you guys have potatoes or French fries and she didn't answer directly, just started listing names of styles of plates and burritos, I said ok that's OK I want to order a burrito that is custom she asked rice and beans, cutting me off, I said I want steak, she said did you know Carne asada is steak and I said yes I want Carne asada, I told her that in the past I have had restraints tell me you'll have to pay for a whole steak and I just want the dang beef idx what it takes and that I don't know how to word it with food places sometimes because they are so picky sometimes, then I told her I want eggs she said we don't do breakfast and were under staffed so I said ok then I guess just steak cheese and avocado. I mean if she would have just listened to my order and read between the lines like a non hostile person would we would have breezed right through the very simple order I then asked before getting off th3 phone if she can put hot salsa on the side and she said we give salsa and chips, I said hold the chips, it'll be a waste and she said ok any more requests?! Like holy crp what is going on in your life it can't possibly be that busy in this little town. Anyways if you like giving your money to reasonable humans avoid this place she is out of hand big time. I am soft spoken and try to word things so that we're both done asap and the special order is very clear for no mistakes and wasted time and materials. She was so rude I couldn't not write this review.
