Very nice gardens with a cafe.

Pros - good sized with lots of plants and a tropical area and cacti area. Cafe was decent but ABIT pricey but since the gardens are free, I can't complain, inside and outside sitting areas.

Cons - only main con would be if your using public transport, it's still a 10min walk and the buses at the area aren't the greatest.

A beautifully designed botanical garden with many attractions both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor areas are visually appealing, and the tropical and cactus houses are fantastic. There's plenty to see for free, definitely worth a donation. We had the daily soups with cheese scones at the restaurant, and they were delicious. Highly recommended.

Inverness Botanic Gardens is a peaceful retreat, perfect for nature lovers and families. The gardens feature diverse plant displays, including vibrant tropical plants and cacti, offering beauty year-round. The small but charming outdoor areas include ponds and a sensory garden, ideal for a tranquil stroll. The attached café serves delicious homemade cakes, light lunches, and good coffee, making it a great spot to relax. Admission is free, though donations are welcomed to support maintenance. It’s well-maintained, with friendly staff who are happy to share their expertise. Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your garden or a quiet escape, it’s a hidden gem in Inverness.

Inverness Botanic Gardens was smaller than I had imagined, or than other cities. However it is a series of beautiful greenhouses and the installations and variety are beautiful.
There is a cafe on site, a reasonable amount of parking out the front and the gardens are free to enter.
They encourage donations to support the maintenance of the garden.

Great small exhibition of plants from around the world. Indoor and outdoor areas are well organized. Beautiful flowers in both areas and excellent surrounding grounds with more flowering wild flowers.

A delightful set of gardens, tropical, herbal, floral, compact layout on a smaller scale than other gardens, but lots to see and enjoy. Plenty of places to sit and relax, a little cafe and facilities, staff happy to answer any questions you have on for a and flora, we spent a good hour walking around, and enjoyed every minute. Plenty of parking, at reasonable price, entrance fees are free but donations suggested, excellent place to visit if travelling through Inverness and want a rest from driving.
