This company has ZERO professionalism. I suppose they don't like individuals who have an Airbnb - We used them a total of three times. Once went without any issues. The second time we ran out of propane during the holidays and they came out, charged us a holiday fee as well as the gas, that's fine. We were late a month with the payment but then paid in full.
The third time we paid before the propane was filled. The worker who came out, said disparaging remarks about us, caught on camera in the backyard. Would not stop talking to our guests.

I called them on a weekday after hours, the man who returned my call first said, this is an Airbnb right? Well you guys were late and I know it was two years ago but I suggest you call back tomorrow morning.
We didn't call, we chose another company the next morning, which charges much less.
Well this company called and left a VM stating they will no longer service us, period!
This is very strange behavior from a company. We did nothing to receive this type of service or non service.

Unless you want to be mistreated and also over charged DO NOT use this company.

Lots of excuses of why delivery didn't happen. Auto pay, yup. Tip driver, yup call office, heavy call volume, check. All I'm asking is a reliable monthly delivery.

Kern River Propane is the best. Take it from a former gas man that worked for a major California gas company, serving residents for 14 years. Kern River Propane are the most honest, qualified, and professional people you are going to find. They won't sell you anything you don't need and safety is their priority. They even replaced my 100+ gallon propane tank for free after they found a leak. Their prices are reasonable and you can't lose with these guys. You got to utilize their service. Its a no brain-er.

The kindest, most helpful propane company I have ever dealt with. We moved into a new home during a snow storm and the original company on the property refused to come out and hook us up until 1 specific person was back in the office. Which I was told would be almost a week! So I called Kern River and they were here within 45 minutes doing a completely new hook up. They always are kind and considerate when refilling too!

I had previously given a 5 star review, but after an unfortunate customer service issue, can no longer give high praise. Very disappointed that a $6 fee was not reversed after a routing number error. No notification that it had occurred. I always pay my bill before I get statement. I guess I'm not a valued customer. How sad!!

Amazingly helpful when we couldn't figure out why the furnace wasn't heating. They recommended we call an HVAC company after they checked every single possibility that it could be a propane issue. I will recommend Kern River Propane in Tehachapi!
