I needed to get my plant repotted (never had done it before). This plant is very special to me. I brought it with me from AZ to PA when I moved here 2.5 years ago. I am so happy with the service and I absolutely love it. It looks so much happier!!

Great local shop! Recently moved to the area and was looking for a local shop as opposed to a large chain garden center. I was SO PLEASED with everything there. Absolutely will be coming here for all of my house plant and garden needs! Everything was lovely and very reasonably priced compared to some larger stores.

I have been shopping here for over twenty five years. I love the selection of unique and different conifers and the employees enthusiasm and knowledge about all the plants. My property proudly displays several trees, conifers, and perennials that are all beautiful and thriving! They also carry a nice variety of pottery, garden decor, and a nice selection of items at Christmas. Just walking around this place and the new greenhouse is a real mood booster!

What an amazing place! I promise you, if you're like me and didn't know of this place you'll be hooked. The customer service here is outstanding, which is rare these days. It doesn't matter if you bump into Robert, the owner, or Gabby, an employee, you'll be treated the same with appreciation as a customer and given all the information you'll need for your project. Their inventory is vast and of great quality. I needed 22 trees, but like most items lately they only had 18 and wasn't sure when they would get more. Well they went out of their way and personally got me 4 before the end of business the very next day. Oh, and they delivered 18 the day I bought them and 4the next day, which I absolutely wasn't expecting. I should also mention that I've only been there once, 12MAY22, and was that impressed I had to write this review. Keep it up Highland Gardens!

The staff was extremely friendly, but I do not recommend this location for Christmas trees. They were very expensive in comparison to other vendors. While we went inside to pay, a staff member drilled and netted our tree selection. They also offered to trim low hanging branches, which we did agree to. However, when we opened the tree once home, it was more like they butchered the bottom of the tree and left us with a small, skimpy one. It does not look nearly as full or nice. Upsetting after having spent so much money on it. We will not be getting a tree here in the future.

My husband and I traveled from over 2 hours. Originally we were in the area and thought we'd stop at a couple garden centers because we enjoy looking. When we saw the trees, we had to get a couple! I've been to many garden centers, and I have never seen such healthy plants! The flowering plants were even still in bloom, which at this time most places the flowers are dried up. Since we originally were in a small car we had to go back for the trees, but the traveling was well worth it in my opinion - the plants were beautiful and healthy, and the staff was so incredibly friendly. Robert was very knowledgeable and helpful! The prices are a bit higher than what I've seen, but the health of the plants was worth it. There's also a good variety, which I would assume would be even better in spring (we went just before fall). We will definitely be back.
We purchased a redpointe maple and a dawn redwood. I wish I could get a better photo of the beautiful red hue of the maple, but it was too sunny. Thank you Robert and the team! The trees traveled well, and we will be returning in the future. 🙂

Helpful & friendly staff. ..I've shopped @ HG for plants to chainsaw blades and the staff have been knowledgeable on the products....love being around the beautiful plants...I have many wishlist items at th his store...including a new Honda lawnmower!
