It's a really cool place, although because of the season there weren't many varieties, but the ones that were there, were very nice. I got a trailing jade, which is gorgeous. Plus, the staff was really nice. Probably we'll go back in the spring or summer.

We were very disappointed because they were highly recommended but our overall opinion is very basic selection at marked up prices for plants and including pots/etc. Up to 3x-4x mark-up. You can drive 30 min or less anywhere for cheaper selection. The 2 closer/most popular plant stores both offer more, including exotics, rarer plants if you're looking for more. Best example on pricing: Monstera Deliciousa can be found for $20-$40 for the same size they were selling at $80.

We’ve shopped at Urban Jungle for years and have never had any complaints. Last week, I noticed that they have a sign in the back offering repotting services and was excited to have them work on my large, mature monstera deliciosa. They completely destroyed my plant. It took them two overnights to repot the plant and when we picked it up it was in complete shambles. See the photos for a before and after. I am beyond disappointed and will not be using their services in the future. I essentially paid them $20 to kill my plant for me.

Super fun place with incredibly helpful employees!! The store is really cute inside with a nice variety of indoor and outdoor plants. The succulent offerings are really fun and unique. Urban Jungle has a great variety of planters and hangers for all different types of plants. The staff is outstanding and so knowledgeable!! The one employee helped us look for a specific planter while another employee helped explain how to best care for my new plant.

Neat store for those of us who love plants, get ideas as to how to care for them and appreciate the mere unique collections of plants - succulents, house plants, etc etc. Right outside the store at the entrance are displays of healthy and thriving plants attended by staff who is very friendly and knowledgeable. They really take great care of their plants!
You have to visit this store when in Passyunk PA!

Urban Jungle went above and beyond for me. I was trying to find a specific tree for my booth. The owner stopped what she was doing to meet me at her other location that wasn't even open, just so that she could get me what I needed. Not only do they have an abundance of options, but they are extremely customer-focused and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Great neighborhood store in Passyunk with wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants, with reasonable prices. Staff is knowledgeable. Currently have to order online for curbside pickup. Hope they will reopen for in-store browsing soon.

I must say there is a certain feeling a person gets when he or she lives in the city and stumbles into a plant nursery. I find it quite calming walking around and enjoying the silence, and Urban Jungle has a rather large facility for what they offer, which can be from the mundane to exotic. We mentioned in passing about a Bird of Paradise plant and the owner took the initiative and asked us when we would need it by, no hassling or arguing.
