The pavillion tea ? rooms botanical gardens. We had our lunch here while we visited the gardens what a lovely place it is aswell

One of those hidden gems in the Birmingham area. Fantastic selection of plant and landscaping related books, a seed exchange, a Shades Creek aquarium, used book sales, and a passionate archivist with a deep and broad knowledge.

This Library is nicer that most. They have a lot of interesting things inside. You can check out books with a Jefferson county public library card witch is super useful. They also have computers for you to use in the library. In addition they have a fish tank and a nice water future outside with a water fall. Although it is small it is still i nice place to be. Five Stars, I would recommend you go!

What a great gift store at The Botanical Gardens! Unique gifts and plenty of pretty garden items. I purchased a really unique succulent container garden along with a delicate necklace. This shows how varied their merchandise selection.

Most amazing space to spend an afternoon. The gardens were never ending. I don't think I made it to even half of the little corners they've built for quietly observing the incredibly diverse plant life.

I love this library. The people at the desk are always happy to help and they have a great used book section where you can be sure to nab a great find in a book, magazine or CD. The library has a very very good selection of books related to gardening and forestry. And what could be better than a stroll through the gardens to top off a beautiful day?

A favorite library! Part of the JCLC, but specializes in books on natural history, gardening, and botany. You can also purchase unique, vintage botanical prints and locally-made gifts inside.

Awesome library. If you are not from here and can't take out books, they have a used book sale and notepads for sale. They also have coffee for $2, which seemed to be a big draw for most people.
