I am currently enrolled on the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development. HCC are absolutely fantastic and so helpful with any queries and quick turnaround times. Once I have completed this course, I will certainly be enrolling on the Level 3 with them. Would definitely recommend.

One of the most unprofessional and unsupportive places I have ever been involved with.
A complete lack of acknowledgement of questions, emails not replied to, course material that was insufficient to complete an exam (both through their own acknowledgement and through my own analysis of what was provided), and having to contact the RHS to help me to get any sort of basic correspondence.
I am 17 weeks into what started as 3 simple questions and has resulted in me requesting my money back for paying for a course that is incredibly unfocused, and tutor support that has been non-existent.
The stress and anguish caused by the college ignoring me, and the effort and energy it has taken to get any sort of reply from them has ruined any desire to continue learning anything based in horticulture.
I have held off from writing this for so long, but I feel I have no choice as it has upset me so much. Do not waste your money or time with these people, find a better college who actually provide what you pay for and treat you like you actually matter.
I will be contacting Trading Standards as well as the RHS (again) if the 17 weeks it has already taken to get to this point continues much longer.

Teaching materials (images) dated and uninspiring.
Overall contact with admin team supportive.
Access to a tutor online would have made the feedback and support feel more beneficial.

Making the most of my retirement, I enrolled on "Principles of Gardening" from the variety of courses offered and chose the required 10 out of 12 units to be completed in 2 years. Wherever possible I linked my assignments to projects in my own garden.
I would recommend this this college and course to anyone wanting to have a good grasp of the basics. Through it my interest in gardening has become a passion and am very proud of the herbaceous perennial border I designed in this photo.

Just disappointed with how things have been dealt with. I've lost more than £500 on a course I have not started and can no longer do. 2 weeks to decide if you want to commit to more than 1 year of study without any chance of even a partial refund is shameful especially when you have only received a couple of pages of material.
