They have so many fresh plantains! Also they have fresh Kala/Puff Puff for sale which is so nice especially when you're craving it and don't wanna make it yourself LOL. Not to mention FRESH OKRA! Praise the lord I can't tell you how many African markets I've been to that have Okra that's either too tough or not fresh. But not at Chi-Ezuka they had an abundance of fresh okra.

Was looking for Heinz baked beans and salad cream. These are the UK products I love, they had it fully stocked and I also got ripe plantain with fresh Ghana yam.

Excellent African store. I found it by mere accident. I was surprised a random internet search took me there. The name sounded similar to another one I used to patronize in San Jose all the way from Hayward. The store is neat and the young lady running the store when I arrived had excellent customer service. There's a wide variety of African groceries. Despite a lack of parking space, I'll still give this store 5 stars. I'll be shopping here for a long time to come!

Great experience! It was my first time shopping here or any African store in general. I'm Southeast Asian but one of my favorite dishes is Egusi Soup and Fufu. I used to get my fixing at a restaurant in Oakland, but recently their quality went downhill so I figured I can try to make it myself.

The store is quite large for a "mom and pop" store and they have been open since 2007. I went in around noon on a weekday, and there was only a few other people in the store shopping and one young woman working at the register. I forgot to grab her name but she was so kind and welcoming! She even recommended me another place nearby called Golden Safari (which I must check out now), and made great conversation.

They had a pretty good selection for African food basics, and multiples of each from different brands. For example, they had several brands of Fufu powder, several different brands of Palm Oil, etc. They also had deep freezers full of goat meat, chicken, tripe, other stew meat.

They were out of iru when I was there, but the young woman gave me an alternative, ogbiri paste, which is very similar. Even gave me tips on how a little goes a long way.

The only thing to complain is perhaps the prices since it was on the higher end, but I completely understand since there is so many import fees and inflation is screwing us all over. From my research, this place is better than Man Can Wak in Oakland. Such a great experience here, that I can oversee that and can definitely see myself back here again.
