Highly recommend! Kanteen catered a birthday party for 50 at my home and I couldn't be happier with their service, professionalism, communication and most of all their food. The entire process from contacting them for the first time until the end of the event, was smooth. My guest raved about every dish that was served that day. The menu was unique and presentation was stunning. Onsite cooking service was priceless. They went above and beyond and delivered the best experience I ever had with a caterer.

We ordered sweets from Varq sweets for Diwali, and these were the best sweets ever! From the rose coconut laddoo to the chocolate besan laddoo, each of the sweets were simply excellent. Presentation, taste and quantity were all A+!
The boxes were delivered in a bag to keep the sweets at optimal temperature. The attention to detail is impeccable!
This will be our go-to place for all Indian food and sweets catering from now on! Huge fans.

My partner and I are planning a wedding, and as he is Indian, we were hoping to have an Indian caterer. Vishwash and Dinesh are relatively new to the scene, but they are accommodating, intelligent, and creative people. It was really refreshing to see a new comer trying to pay homage to traditional flavors as well as add some tasteful modern flair. As a mixed couple, this was able to impress both of our palettes regardless of familiarity to the flavors.

While we have only done a tasting with them so far, they gave us incredibly flavorful food, and lots of it! There were 50+ items to try in total. We had left overs for DAYS, and even recruited family to help us finish. Our multicultural parents also thought the food was delightful. If there is something you specifically want to request, they are happy to modify and accommodate, or even make something completely new for you. I highly recommend check them out!

Highly recommend Kanteen Catering for all of your Indian and Indian fusion catering needs! They catered our wedding this past August. Everything from our first tasting to subsequent meetings on planning our creative menu was so seamless. Dinesh and Vishwas make a great team, it was very easy to communicate with both of them and they were both very knowledgeable about our venue, which made it easier to navigate. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but it was so nice to have such a professional team provide catering services on our big day. All of our guests raved about the food, from the creative appetizers, the ice cream during the ceremony time to the flavorful desserts. Kanteen can make staple dishes and fusion dishes with ease. Would not hesitate to book Kanteen again for our next big event!

Kanteen was fantastic . Wish I could give more than 5 stars Our pre wedding reception of 160 people was served by Chef Dinesh himself onsite and team of 19 servers . The food was a hit with our guests, many of whom been to dozens of wedding . They raved about the delicious appetizer as the best they have has here in Silicon Valley and destination weddings .

The team came on time and the served the guest professionally . The presentation was equally as good and professional as the quality of the food.

Vishwas was easy to deal with. Dinesh and Vishwas were flexible to modify and learn the menu to make it an authentic Gujarati meal.

We couldn't have been happier with Kanteen for catering our wedding events! From the very start with an incredible food tasting spread out over two nights, they exceeded our expectations at every turn.

We opted for an all-vegetarian menu, blending Indian and non-Indian flavors with both traditional and modern dishes beautifully presented. At the Sangeet, their appetizers were such a hit that we decided to serve them exclusively. Guests raved about the pani puri shots and beet croquettes with roasted red bell pepper sauce. The desserts were equally delightful, with the falooda being a crowd favorite and the brown rice poha kheer with jaggery winning my heart.

For breakfasts, Kanteen delivered delicious South Indian fare like idli, medu vada, sambar, and chutneys, along with refreshing chai, which were a huge hit among our hotel-staying family members.

During lunch, their traditional Gujarati cuisine, particularly the undhiyu paired with their recommended coconut rice, impressed everyone with its authentic flavors and perfect balance.

At the reception, the idli fries and jicama tacos with mango and avocado filling during cocktail hour set a festive tone. Dinner was equally memorable with standout dishes like kadhai paneer with water chestnuts, which was my personal favorite. The food was flavorful and satisfying without being heavy, ensuring everyone had the energy to dance the night away.

Even the next morning, Kanteen provided grab-and-go boxed breakfasts featuring khaman dhokla, chutney, and chakli, which were a perfect send-off for our guests heading home.

Kanteen flawlessly executed every aspect of our diverse menu and accommodated our varying party sizes and requests with professionalism and grace. I would wholeheartedly recommend them and look forward to hiring them again for any future events, large or small.
