One of my favorite breakfast restaurants in S Cal. I love their coffee, seasonal apple cider, croissants, French toast brûlée, chilaquiles. Christmas decorations are up right now. Enjoy breakfast in a beautiful setting. Me and my friend savored our time our here this morning.

Super cute spot! Recommend for coffee! Came on a Saturday to order at the cafe. They were short staff and had the patrons wait a really long time without acknowledging the line. Cashier did mention in front of the guest "oh they can wait I got it". Recommend to order from the Deli rather than the cafe due to the short staff and wait time. It is a first come first serve arrangement but the atmosphere is worth it. They have cute stores and have a bunch of wine, picnic, meats, salads, charcuterie, and fruit in the deli where you don't have to wait.

I order a very tasty Earl Grey London Fog of with a croissant.

My family overall enjoyed the atmosphere. I leave one star off due to the short staff and wait time to order.

Enjoyed our sandwiches. Avocado turkey was very good. Pasta salad was very tasty. Very enjoyable outside seating. Nice bakery and deli products and services. Worth a visit.

What an expensive disappointment when we were realling looking forward to something special.

We went for their tea service. Entering the restaurant, the front of house staff of 5 people paid no attention to us when we were looking to find our table. Instead, 3 were joking around and doing nothing. The place had about 10 tables seated, so it's not like they were overwhelmed or anything. Just didn't seem to care.

Sandwiches and pastries were stale, and desserts didn't have much flavor besides sugar. No nuance. Same quality you'd expect at a Starbucks.

The staff did get a little more attentive when the manager/owner showed up.

I can't imagine going back and cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

To be honest, the food was a little bland. The service was good. The wait was a little on the long side. The sandwiches were fresh, but a tad boring. The french toast was really good, but be forewarned, it has the consistency of bread pudding. The strawberry and chocolate waffles were good. If you eat in the patio, it's charming, but slanted and can be a little tight depending on where you're at on the patio. The rosemary bread they serve is marvelous!

It is charming and the store is nice. It was nice enough, but I probably wouldn't go out of the way for it again. However if I found myself in the area, I'd definitely go back and try something else. I like to give a place two shots before I decide it's not for me.

Still think it's a beautiful hidden gem in San Marino! What I like the most about this place is that there's a nice boutique shop right next to the restaurant, which is really a great addition to this place. You can find beautiful candles, exotic spices, Valentine's Day chocolates, macaroons, handmade pies, cakes, you name it. There is also a deli section for you to shop. During the pandemic, they've changed how they do things. It's more like a gourmet market these days. There's no indoor seating anymore, only outdoor seating. First come, first serve. The menu is now more limited and the food is not made to order anymore.

I truly felt as if I was in a cafe in countryside France. The atmosphere and food were wonderful! My wife had the seafood pasta and it was good, her only comment was that the sauce was not as thick as she would have expected from a creme sauce. But it was tasty.

I had the beef sandwich. It was really great! The beef was tender and the juices soaked into the bread; Along with the blue cheese, it was unbelievably delicious. The best thing was the French Fries. They were the best we have ever had!

Definitely on my favorites list now!

The first time I went to Brunch, which was highly rated by yelp, it turned out to be cold salad and cold soup. I reluctantly ate it. My Russian teacher returned the Caesar salad and soup. The old beauty's style... is really different from the others.
