We came by here right after picking strawberries at Tru2Earth farm. My toddler was feeling sleepy so we thought we could hang out at a winery nearby while she naps in the stroller. At first we were en route to another winery but reading the reviews, some of them were not welcoming of children. I stumble on Lion ranch and decided to give it a try.

Boy, were we glad we found this hidden gem! It’s a quaint little winery and our hosts were sweet and friendly. I asked if children were welcome and she said very much so! We sat in a corner while our toddler napped in her stroller and we enjoyed a flight of red and a glass of white. We also asked if we were able to eat the strawberries we picked at the farm, and our hosts said we were welcome to bring our own picnic and there’s no problem at all.

The little winery was quaint, birds were chirping by. Our hosts also checked on us a couple of times and made sure we were taken care of. The bathroom was clean and it also had a diaper changing station, which is god sent for couples with small children. All in all, it’s great to have a winery that welcomes families. Thank you for having us! We enjoyed all the wine, the reds were flavorful and whites were refreshing, and it was great to be able to snack on our own strawberries too.

Nice outdoor tasting area, but didn’t like how the staff didn’t provide much hospitality and attention to our group of 10. We wanted to learn more about the wines, the company, the wine tasting flight, but the woman taking our order seemed annoyed when we wanted to ask questions about the wines and its’ origins. She never came back after serving our flights, we had to go search for her to pay. We never saw her afterwards, not even a good bye or anything. Lovely place but will not come back due to this experience.

What a fabulous experience! Lion Ranch winery is a true gem. They have a broad selection of Rhone varietals (don’t miss skip the Rosé, it’s yum) and offer several flight options. The surroundings are lovely and the staff very knowledgeable and professional. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks, Kim, Todd and staff for everything.

Thank you for hosting the SMG Teacher Appreciation event this week! What a lovely venue and kind, helpful staff. We enjoyed the peaceful environment and were able to relax and enjoy one another's company after a long week at school. My favorite wine was the Syrah:)

Checked this winery out last Saturday for passport month. Almost drove right by since it is an unassuming house along San Martin Avenue. The tasting room is outside to the left of the house.

Spent a bit of time with one of the wine makers, a very friendly and knowledgeable woman with long blonde hair.

We ended up buying a bottle of their Viognier.

Lion Ranch Winery is an amazing Boutique style winery with amazing wine! Family owned winemakers in a beautiful setting. The Reds and White wines are unbelievable! Just had an amazing crepes pairing with wine! definitely a winery to stop by on your wine trail adventure!

Such a beautiful, fun, friendly environment. My boyfriend and I had a spectacular time with Kristy and Laura(you can really tell they know their wines) We can’t wait to go back !
