A very nice bakers' supplies shop with lots of selections, including flours, chocolates, molds, etc. They also have a classroom in the back, not very large. Came here for a croissant class. The class was okay, hands on, but couldn't actually bake our dough because of time limitation 😣.

Came to browse after a biz meeting across the street. Really interesting inventory of baking supply + promise of baking classes. I'd come in to buy if I want specialty supplies for sure. Too far for cooking classes though.

Horrible customer service once they have your money, which is unfortunate because I've been going out of my way to support this business over the past 2 years even though you can find everything for less online.

I bought a quarter baking sheet and a silicone mat to match in the morning. I got home and the mat was too big, even though the packaging said it was made to fit a quarter sheet. I returned to the store the same day and showed it to the same lady who sold it to me, and she acknowledged that it didn't fit even though it should have.

They have a no return policy, but since it was either defective or mislabeled, I asked if I could return/exchange it for the right one. She just said no and pointed to the "All Sales Final" sign.

They sold me a faulty product, acknowledged it, and I still got stuck with the short end of the stick. I've spent hundreds here over the years and don't plan to spend a dollar more, all over a $10 silicon mat.

Took the chocolate roll cake/yule log class and Laura and her team made it a really easy, fun experience. I’d previously tried to make sponge cakes unsuccessfully and now I’m not afraid to try it again on my own. Also, I shared my cake with friends and everyone raved about how delicious it was!

Terrible customer experience, unwilling to make any accommodations.

I had an unavoidable family conflict arise 7 days prior to my class, and this business had nothing to offer me other than “sorry that’s our policy — no refunds, no exchanges”. Although that policy is documented, I’ve never paid so much money and not had any interest expressed in working with me as a customer regardless of what the fine print said. For hundreds of dollars, I expected better.

Would not recommend for anyone with families or other obligations where you may not be able to control your schedule.

I really enjoyed the people, the products, and the overall experience. The owner was friendly and thoughtful. He offered me suggestions and even gave provided access to some sourdough starter. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great service, products, and reasonably priced. Go there if you like to bake!

Had a wonderful experience at Baking Arts. Took a baking class with Rick. Croissants are delicious and beautiful! Everyone there was very professional, the store has amazing baking supplies! Will definitely take other classes there in future!
