Great small park, and free to visit! The path around the lake is only about half a mile, but it's really lovely in here with plenty to look at. Make sure to check out the little free library in the parking lot too - it usually has some good options!

Such beautiful sights and if you ever wanted to enjoy mother nature, this is the place to go to. Apparently, I didn't know these gardens were around until I noticed that everybody was going to here and decided I wanted to give it a try, pretty small but sweet.

Atmosphere: You feel welcome, no tickets needed, the entry is free and you can enter anyway you'd like, parking is fair and simple too. Lots of animals around like geese, turtles, ducks, etc.

Experience: I like the "In Loving Memory" of all the people that were once alive and have sadly passed away, it is to remember those who were in the military, army, air force, navy, marines, etc.

Options: You can walk, bring a pet, or ride a bicycle around, the garden is not big similar to the Birmingham one but it's definitely worth a treat.

This is such a cute small park and lake with nice, short and easy walk around. There multiple benches to take rest and tons of squirrels. Bunch of free parking. Enjoy!

I don’t know why I waited so long to visit. This park was so beautiful. From now on, I will be visiting here instead of the botanical gardens. There is a great walk around the lake, plenty of nice grassy areas for relaxing or picnicking, and the little creek waterfallis great for kids and grown-ups still young at heart

It was a very kid friend environment. The trails were short and dirt path not great for strollers, but my toddlers enjoyed it.

I love to go and just walk around the lake. With the smell of everything beginning to bloom, the bees flying from flower to flower, or the birds singing in the trees, it is very relaxing and energizing at the same time.

I like the walking trail and the fish and turtles in the pond. The tea olive tree there smells so sweet when it blossoms.
