This is the most amazing place in LA. The different rooms of plants and antiques are so cool. It makes you feel like you’re in another dimension. Amalia is the nicest just a trove of knowledge about all plants and pots and artists. We had such a great experience with them (Amalia and Arezo) and we told them upfront our budget was super low and they were still willing to work with us. We bought two pots and they repotted two trees for us. They both look beautiful! And they’re still alive a month later!

This place needs more exposure! First time there and it was breathtaking! A great collection of large plants and other decor pieces. This place is massive and it was really amazing seeing such a mature collection of tropical & desert plants

Anyone else buy a black olive tree from them that died a few weeks later? Took care of it per instruction. They refused to give me a replacement to try again. updating with additional review after owner comment below I would like to further present you with the owners response as proof at how uncool they are. Resorting to name calling. Saying I'm a liar, arrogant and inept. Unbeknownst to me at the time, black olives do not do well indoors contrary to what Amelia told me. I've learned this by visiting other nurseries all of which were much more helpful and caring than this place. The truth is that Tropics Inc does not care about it's customers and just wants to take your money. They are dishonest, have zero customer service, are over priced and you should do business with just about any other nursery over this one. I've also taken the precaution of grabbing a screenshot of the Owners response in case they delete their comment. In which case I'll add that photo to this review.

As soon as you walk in, you get greeted and just feels right!
I requested a bouquet of flowers for my niece's birthday using light blush hues and it came out so pretty. The florist had also put it in a mason jar and wrapped it so beautifully, I wanted to keep it for myself.

Definitely a one of a kind place. Stop by if only to walk around. It's family owned, and Ron is one of the best human beings you'll meet. You feel welcomed from the get go, and they catered everything to my needs. Can't recommend enough.
