There aren’t enough words to describe the magic that is The Original Manassero Farms. Everyone knows the strawberries are worth the weekly visit, but just walking through the herb garden breathes life into me on an otherwise dreary Wednesday afternoon. The kids love the “u-pick” strawberries and the kids playground always keeps us occupied for an hour or two. Bring a couple quarters for the merry go round! Come for the strawberries but stay for the charm. Wonderful low key family experience.

We came for the pick your own strawberries. You have to reserve online and it’s 12.50 for a empty container. We felt that the online system was silly and the price is high.

We wish we had known that we didn’t need to buy 3 boxes for 3 people. We could have just shared a box between us.

My daughter was disappointed that the quarter rides didn’t work. The kids area is cute but definitely could use some more things to do.

I thought it was a cute little place and I appreciate that we got to pick fresh berries.

My review is not about the place itself, it's about the disorganized Christmas event they just held.

We don't live close by, so we had to account for traffic since there is ALWAYS traffic. We checked in about 20 minutes earlier than our scheduled time. While checking we got scolded for showing up early. According to the lady checking people in, we had to be there right at our scheduled time. Not off to a good start.
After we checked in, we saw that there was a lot of people there already and just all over the place. There were people waiting to have their photo taken with Santa inside the make shift snow globe.

We then take our little one to the play area they have for kids. In that play area they have tricycles and a play farm stand and a the "Step2" big roller coaster. Tell my why it didn't occur to any staff member to remove the car for that toy. Kids wanted to use it and we're crashing into other adults and kids after rolling down the toy. Needless to say, kids and others were annoyed. And yes, parents should tell their kids not use it in a crowded place, but non the less, it shouldn't have been there to begin with. So after seeing that, we left that area.

Finally, our ticket number was called to take our photos with Santa. Well, it didn't occur that since this globe is made out of plexi glass that there would be a reflection. So our pictures that were taken from outside didn't come out because of the glare and reflection of the snow globe. Luckily, there was a little window so you could put your phone through to take pictures from inside.

The concept of the snow globe for pictures is a great one, but not during the day. It should be used for a night event. Needless to say, it was very disorganized, pictures were not good, and being scolded even though it was packed inside, made it unpleasant. We will not be going back for the Christmas event.

We just moved to Irvine and are so glad this is here! The produce is absolutely beautiful and the bread it to die for. Such a bonus to have the play area too. 10/10 🍓

Loved the way the farm outlet is organized. Strawberries were fresh, we picked an organic one. The veggies and fruits are fresh, they have jam, and other items, all neatly arranged. There is small kids play area behind, the store concept play area is great for kids.

Pick up your own strawberries is a unique experience and I enjoy it so much. The fresh strawberries from the farm taste tremendously different from the store bought ones. The flesh is so fresh, soft, smooth and sweet. But I knocked down one star just because of the price here is on the steep side and I wish it’s more accessible to everyone.

Easy booking online, fair prices. Fun experience for my niece and more so for my elderly mom. Very sweet and juicy strawberries. We’ll be back.

There's not many farms around Orange County anymore, but it's great to still have Manassero Farms Market centrally located in Irvine. Beautiful farm stand building with outbuildings that you can spend time shopping for great produce and farm stand items. Great ideas for gifts too.
