Rented a tool. Got it home and the handle came right off. Went back and swapped it out. It worked fine, but when I went back to the store to drop it off & get my deposit back they didn't give my full deposit. I realized this when I got home, gave them a call and was told the only way to get the rest of the deposit was to go back to the store. I asked to speak with a manager to see if there was anything else that could be done. (Waited about 20 minutes to talk to someone). And his solution was to give me $10 off a purchase of $20 or more.....it was something, but I didn't really need anything else and I wasn't too interested in spending at least $10 to save $10. He suggested cleaning supplies..... Not sure why..... But he just kept driving that point home..he said it about 4 times. "When you come back, grab some cleaning supplies and then go get the deposit back." It was this super weird sort of tone like "shes a woman so she must love cleaning supplies." I usually let this stuff go, but this one pissed me off.
This Home Depot always feels sketchy, and now I'm just done. I'll go to Lowes.

I recently visited Home Depot to return some paint, and the customer service experience was disappointing.

Rude Staff Member: An older employee with glasses, whose name I don't recall, was extremely rude. He repeatedly cut us off, saying "no, no, no, no" while we tried to explain our situation. His constant interruptions made the process very frustrating.

Management Interaction: Maura, the manager, was somewhat better but not great. She initially brought up irrelevant topics and refused our return. However, her attitude changed when she learned we were affiliated with a customer who had spent a significant amount of money at their store in the past. To her credit, she eventually accepted the return, recognizing that some situations require a different approach.

Overall Experience: I'm disappointed with the customer service at this Home Depot location and will not be returning. However, if you need assistance, it might be worth trying to communicate with Maura directly. With enough effort, she may understand and address your situation.

Conclusion: While Home Depot generally has a good reputation, my experience at this location was subpar. For those considering shopping here, be prepared for potential challenges in customer service and try to speak directly with a manager like Maura if issues arise.

Came here Saturday 4pm, store is pretty empty and COULD NOT get any help with power tools for 20mins. They keep telling me they gonna call someone over. And no one ever came. Asked to speak with the manager. Guess what he don't care for you either. Got me waiting 10mins for him and never came either. I just walked out. They don't care for your business. Go to another store or Lowes. I only came to this store cause they have 6 of the item in stock. NEVER AGAIN. This store is a joke.

My first time here, nothing but positive results. All the Staffs are very nice. Especially, Willy, he is so nice and professionally, he know where all the my stuff are, he personally direct me there (multiple areas)and help me carry it in my cart. I usually go to the one in HB. But this experience, changed my mind, this location become my new favorite Home-Depot now. Thank you Willy!!

Having a horrible experience, been waiting almost 40 minutes in the lumber/wood cutting area and although some of the associates have called it already 3 times plus someone went to talk to the person responsible for the department and apparently he's on his break? How long are breaks for? none has come to cut 2 pieces of wood.

I called the Flooring Department to order some custom blinds. Molly, the floor supervisor was terrific. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and started my custom design. She actually was looking after the customer and mentioned a promo that would start tomorrow. Talk about great customer service. Molly is definitely a keeper. Home Depot take notice and give her a raise!

Worst customer service imaginable. Incompetent employees who are mad they have to get off their phone long enough to answer a simple question, which they then answer incorrectly. Drive an extra few miles to go absolutely anywhere else.
