First time here. It was a bit crowded but we were able to find a table inside. They also have outside seating. I found the spicy polish sausage the perfect amount for me at least but depending on your spicy tolerance it might too spicy for others. The fries were good. I ordered the chipotle aioli on side

Post Spartan feast at Wursthaus Santa Ana. With so many choices, I had to go for the sampler platter. I picked the bison/cheddar/jalepeno, rattlesnake/rabbit, and the Hungarian with grilled jalepenos, mushrooms, bell peppers, and sauerkrout on the side. While all of the sausages were delicious, the rattlesnake and rabbit was my favorite. It had such a unique flavor and perfect texture. The sides were a great addition. The grilled jalepenos were hot! I was in tears of joy from every scrumptious, spicy bite.

The set up of the place looked awesome. I'm a vegetarian and having a vegan option wasn't something I expected, when my boyfriend suggested going. The vegan Italian sausage was absolutely delicious. He, a meat eater, loved his food as well. Everyone was super personable. Loved it

Food is decent. Taps are not marked when they’re out so have a plan B on hand. Second tip is if you’re dining in, make sure they have room for you to sit at in the back before even ordering - otherwise, you’ll be stuck eating standing up and there’s really no room to be doing that here.

Vibe wise, this place is super hipster with a lot of techie nerds and trustafarians. Reminds me a lot of the bars in downtown Oakland when it became gentrified.

happy Hour was 8pm-close! Great beer, as shown was the happy hour beer. Crazy German beer selection. We got the works, 3 sausage sampler, and the loaded fries. So amazing, fresh, grilled to perfection and the fries so perfect. All this food for 55$ including tip. Try the Nuremberg! It’s veal, and almost like a breakfast sausage. The Wagyu is always amazing! The fries have a great sauce with grilled onions! Great German style date night! Oh and the bread is so soft and crispy on the outside. Idk how they do it!

I've been to Germany many times and this is some of the best food I've had in the US. The staff were great and very helpful. I was happy they had some vegan options as well. The price was very reasonable and we enjoyed the vibes. Will definitely come back!

One of my favorite spots in DTSA, absolutely unparalleled european beer selection(they had st bernardus christmas ale on draft!) and a surprisingly robust selection of vegan/vegetarian sausages. Service can be a litte spotty as they're often understaffed but worth the wait
