Overview of Wow Bao Ghost Kitchen

Located at 2855 Augustine Dr, Santa Clara, CA 95054, United States, Wow Bao Ghost Kitchen offers an intriguing blend of Chinese cuisine in a modern, ghost kitchen format. For those seeking a quick bite or a casual dining experience, this establishment stands out with its convenient delivery, takeaway, and dine-in options. The address is quite accessible, making it a popular spot among locals and tourists alike.

For contact purposes, the phone number is not publicly listed, but visitors can typically find it on the official website or through online ordering platforms. The web presence is equally important; the website provides detailed menu information and operates a robust online ordering system, which is particularly useful for those looking to order ahead or explore the menu at their convenience.

The restaurant specializes in Chinese restaurant cuisine, boasting a selection of small plates and comfort food that caters to a wide palate. However, it's worth noting that the average opinion on Google My Business, with only 11 reviews, suggests a mixed reception. The average opinion leans towards the lower end with a rating of 1.6 out of 5 stars. This indicates that while there may be some satisfied customers, there are also significant areas for improvement that potential diners should be aware of.

Despite the low ratings, Wow Bao Ghost Kitchen offers several appealing features. It's known for its delivery and takeaway services, which are a boon for those pressed for time. The restaurant is also dine-in friendly, with options for solo diners and families alike. For those with mobility concerns, the venue boasts wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, and seating, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their meal comfortably.

Parking is free for customers, with both street parking available close by and a dedicated parking lot. This makes it an even more convenient choice for those who might otherwise be deterred by parking hassles. Additionally, the establishment accepts credit cards, a practical consideration in today's digital age.

For families or groups looking for a casual dining atmosphere, Wow Bao Ghost Kitchen offers a somewhat relaxed environment. However, the low star rating suggests that consistent quality issues may affect the overall experience. Potential diners might want to consider this when making their decision, especially if they're looking for a highly rated Chinese restaurant experience.

Tiny little bowl with rice on the top and little poor vegetable on the bottom ๐Ÿ™„๏ธ
Cold temperature for all food when delivered too
And they taste like microwave food

The only "wow" for this place is for how theyโ€™re unable to cook white rice properly. The orange chicken and Kung Pao bowls we ordered were complete let-downs. Flavor was ok but chicken was minced very fine and the rice was unbelievably soggy and overcooked. If it were a contest between their version and Panda Express', they would easily lose to the big chunks of meat and vegetables (and even plain rice!) consistently offered at Panda.

The potstickers and bao were just OK. We got the ginger chicken potstickers and a variety of different bao. You'd think if they named a place after a dish, that's the one thing they do better than anybody else. Sadly, this is not the case. The bao dough was stiff, not fluffy like you could expect from any dim sum place. The filling was fine but nothing to write home about. Same with the potstickers.

If it makes any difference, theyโ€™re a ghost kitchen operating out of Sizzler. You'd be better off ordering from any local Chinese place or even *gasp* Panda!

I ordered the bowl, bao and some potstickers. I tasted all 6 flavors and I have to say all of them tastes strange, and in a bad way. They are either too sweet, too sour or too salty. If you want to taste this as Chinese food, save yourself some trouble and find another place. I don't know if people would appreciate it as American food, at least it's worse than panda express.

For just the bao and potstickers it was yummy, however we also ordered rice and an orange chicken bowl and neither came in our order. Judging from the other reviews though this may actually have improved our experience

If I could give negative stars I would. This place works out of sizzler and they said they just microwave the food. It's the most disappointing and disgusting food I've ever spit out. My family isnt picky but we definitely dont like food that's looks and tastes like wet cat/dog food. And they cant cook white rice right.

The baos were lacking flavor and dry. The chicken ginger potstickers werenโ€™t so bad though.

Disappointment taken to a whole new level. I would say the best part is there won't be enough food in the portion to give you food poisoning.
