I have ordered from another Welsh Cake company but after the experiences I have had with The Welsh Baker, I am now a loyal customer and fan! I have tried many of their flavors such as, lemon, blueberry, chocolate chip, currant, cinnamon and most recently Bara Brith. I have a hard time deciding which is my favorite but I lean towards the classic currant. Ordering from Denise and Joe is fun and easy. I received my latest order exactly when Joe said I would. I have only tried the Welsh Cakes but if the scones are half as good as the cakes then I know I'll love them, too! Absolutely a wonderful business with a great product.

We are back from the Scottsh Games in Vista, CA, (San Diego County). Sat. got iced cofee yum. Then back on Sun. for Cetic breakfast and packs of Welsh cakes. I just ate my Almond Joey pack. Probably the company I missed most at Scottish games was The Welsh Baker! Not only do they provide a unique variety of items that can be ordered, but eating them at events starts our day out on a happy note. Most recently we were at the Seaside Highland Games in Ventura, CA. We lucked out and got Clan Blair tents near the Welsh Baker.

Thinking of the holidays? Need something fun to share with friends near and far, send gifts. I was so happy to take lemon curd home with me. I ate all the scones, so need to purchase more.

We also saw them at the Fresno Games, but did not get in line soon enough to take any home. Our millenial son is very particular about what he eats, but these treats are a winner.

Thanks for providing quality products we can enjoy by freezing them. Yum!

If you are debating trying Welsh Cakes, don’t hesitate! These are authentic, fresh and just like I remember when in Wales. The flavors are wonderful and they are the perfect size and thickness-scrumptious when heated!! I suggest ordering more than less because if you’re like me, you will not be able to resist seconds. My order arrived carefully packaged, items were fresh and shipping was fairly quick too. These little gems are worth the price and such a great departure from your average muffin, pancake, crumpet or toast. Three words: Yummy Yummy Yummy!!

I received my Welsh cakes and they were delicious. I like the fact you they are hand griddled ,can freeze them, bring them out and still keep the freshness! Will definitely keep ordering from them.

I love this company for 3 specific reasons.

I love their cakes from years of seeing them at local festivals, online orders, and their open house events.

At the open house, you can get free food that you would get at a festival such as Welsh cakes, clotted cream, jam, tea, lemonade, and savory items such as bacon or vegetarian pasty pies or Scotch eggs. We repay them by buying a ton of product. You can find out about what or where they'll be selling or their open houses through their email newsletter.

I also love them because they made wedding favors for us! I highly recommend this company for delicious baked goods.

Website is confusing to work with - I had a hard time understanding all of the options. After working through that - was told the item would be sent that day; it didn’t get shipped out until 4 days later — thereby being late for the special occasion for a friend. I hope they taste good — do not know as it was a gift.

Absolutely delicious. After banning myself from purchasing these again due to my lack of self-control (eating one pack in one sitting), I slipped and placed an order a few days ago. I could not stop thinking about how amazing they are - light, perfectly sweetened, right sized, wonderful selection of flavors...I could go on. They arrived yesterday, and I just ordered again. I'm hiking around the Olympic National Park in two weeks and these will be the perfect treat during and after the hike. I'm already looking forward to placing yet another order and trying more flavors!

Bought a mixed bag of their Welsh cakes at the renaissance fair, and they are amazing. Lemon ginger Welsh cakes are my favorite. Then the blueberry and the current Welsh cakes. So yummy. All 6 of my kids loved them too. We'll be ordering more soon!
