I offered support as a volunteer that would have benefited their desired mural for the outside of the building. Never heard a response. I have a celebrated reputation for helping non-profit organizations here in Ventura County and references to verify, but they did not seem to want the help. There is really never much food there is no financial transparency or proof of success on their website. If you drive by the building, it looks sad and reflects the lack of operational and networking abilities.

If you look at Saticoy, it is an unincorporated farming community. Do we really need to teach this kind of community how to grow food? I hope the best for this organization, but I feel that they need a more experienced staff to push their mission to show they are satisfying their mission and the needs to the community.
