Definitely take a tour. Only way to go inside the house. The gardens can be seen without a tour (but included). Marti was an amazing guide. She knew so much! Tour was over an hour, she had so many stories and interesting information to share. By and far best docent I’ve had at any place, ever.

Street parking. There is a small gift shop too.

Even in winter without access to the house it was a delightful and peaceful visit. There were some flowers already. Well maintained paths with plant descriptors everywhere as well as about the remarkable life of Luther Burbank. I especially liked the lotus with a sun dial in it.

I lived in Santa Rosa in the 1990s. I had forgotten what a purely magical.place the Luther Burbank Home & Garden was and is. The place is tranquil and the blossoms were beautiful. It is a sacred environment to be grounded and feel at peace.

It was a lovely day to walk thru this beautiful garden. The roses are so pretty, and there were many other spring flowers. You can take a tour of the house and grounds. I had done it before, so not on this day.

Although when we went there it was already after 4pm and the houses were closed, we had a very peaceful and nice walk. It is a peace of history. Luther Burbank worked with new types of plants, some eatable and others just flowers, but beautiful.
There is no specific parking lot and no restrooms.
Worth a visit though!

I enjoyed seeing a number of volunteer workers caring for the grounds. My third trip here and the grounds are all I have seen.
Beautiful variety of flowering and non-flowering plants.

Beautiful gardens, I am a little early (mid-April), tgere are still some blooms and I can see it will be fabulous in just a couple of weeks.
