I pull permits at a lot of cities for minor bathroom remodels. The people here are friendly, their process is simple. The price isn’t outrageous… it’s actually reasonable. If I could give more than 5-stars I would. I wish every city was like this.

Parking by Beach House restaurant is not clear that it is pay to park. Poor sign visibility. Got a parking ticket for $64.00 and then when you go to pay it they rip you off another $3.50 for a convenience fee.

Old town Cafe was great! But i got a ticket😳😣!!, they said i parked on the side walk, i made sure i cked front & back.before i walked away, parked in a 1hr spot came back in plenty of time, so when i saw the ticket, o went straight to City hall, they gave me a number, saw a cop on the way out & asked her ?'s. She says i have to do everything on line to get resolved, that it was not worth it for me to go to Seal Beach police station, which would've been my next stop, not happy, I'm going to try & fight this,☝🙏, i was enjoying my day off, never made it to the pier😭😢

The inside of the building is restricted to employees, as well as the gender specific restrooms. However, the outside garden area is well adorned with a small fountain and pond inhabited by turtles, goldfish, and small minnows. There is a unisex bathroom which is well maintained. The area around the pond also offers an electrical outlet so that you can charge your phone, cook some beans, or whatever.
