I visited this restaurant with my wife, and these are my observations:

The good: Prices and portions are right on target. The taste is authentic, and the sauces are very good!

There is plenty of free parking, and the neighborhood is very peaceful.

Service is very good and the waitress is very attentive and nice. She has that welcome to the restaurant vibe.

The bad: I really didn't find any other than the music. If they play some traditional Thai music, it will, in my opinion, complete the experience. The music, however, is not bad...

The ugly: There is nothing bad or ugly about the experience I had with my wife. We actually want to come back to this place more often and try other wonderful dishes they have.

Overall, I recommend this jewel hidden somewhere between Long Beach and Seal Beach called Thai on Main. You will not regret it.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in.

I had the pleasure of trying their glass noodle salad and BBQ beef, and both dishes were outstanding. The glass noodle salad was refreshing and flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. The BBQ beef was tender and richly marinated, giving it a savory depth that paired wonderfully with the lighter salad.

Whether you're a local or just visiting, Thai on Main is a must-try for anyone looking for great Thai food in a relaxed, friendly setting near the beach. The combination of delicious food, great location, and welcoming staff makes it an easy favorite.

I usually will get their salmon yellow curry which I have ordered many times before. The yellow curry has potato which I really enjoy about the dish. when I called today to get the same thing I’ve ordered before I was told they couldn’t accommodate my delivery order.
That the salmon curry was only made with the panang curry. Which is weird because I’ve ordered the salmon yellow curry before.
On their website you can even order it with seafood so I’m wondering why today I can not order the dish that I was given many times before. Would not recommend due to the lack of knowledge on your dishes.

Ordered takeout, and the reason I chose Thai on Main is because of their vegetable spring rolls which according the their menu, includes basil. In fact I live them so much that I place a double order. We picked up, got the food home, and instead of basil, romaine lettuce was used. Absolutely no flavor without the basil. What a rip off! I specifically requested "extra basil",offering to pay extra. I'm so disappointed. Thought I had found my new home for Thai food. Make it right Thai on Main...

I love coming here to eat. Great food, awesome service. I normally order their Tom Yum soup. Today I ordered Thai Boat Noodles soup. Its a little spicy, good portion of beef to noodles ratio. The broth is very delicious and savory.

Nice spot, was able to get a table quickly. Spice level was much lower than expected. Would of expected better food with the amount of awards it has. Still overall good, but wouldn't go back. Unsure of what type of alcohol was in the margarita.

Best pork Pad Thai I've ever had! Not hot n spicy at all, but very flavorful and large portion. Yummy Thai tea. Highly recommend. Outdoor and indoor dining options too... I took a star off because the price per item was a few dollars more than the other thai places I go to. It was so good that it was worth the price though.
