GrassHoppers: More Like Grass-Killers - Avoid at All Costs!

Hiring GrassHoppers was like unleashing a swarm of locusts on my property, except instead of devouring my crops, they decimated my entire yard. This company is a masterclass in everything a landscaping business should NEVER be.

From the moment their rusty, duct-taped truck sputtered into my driveway, I knew I was in trouble. The crew reeked of cigarettes and apathy, treating my carefully planned garden beds like an obstacle course for their clunky equipment.

My once-lush lawn now resembles a patchy, uneven wasteland. Shrubs are hacked back with the finesse of a chainsaw massacre, and they somehow managed to turn my vibrant flowerbeds into desolate mounds of dirt.

Calling their customer service is an exercise in futility. You’re more likely to achieve world peace than get a helpful response from these clowns. They dodged my calls for weeks, and when I finally confronted them in person, I was met with a level of disrespect that bordered on comical.

The cherry on top? They left my property looking like a disaster zone, littered with debris, broken equipment, and even a mysterious oily puddle that will probably haunt my soil for years to come.

Do yourself a favor and avoid GrassHoppers like the plague they are. You’ll thank me later.

This low review goes against this company’s management and supervisors and not the field workers that have no blame of such a poor leadership. Lack of follow ups, dead palms, damage to homes pipes, windows, etc. without any response, management just never takes responsibility for anything. Run away if you see these low life grasshoppers.

Property Management contracted... They will be replaced when the actual home owners take over the community. They’ve destroyed Christmas decorations, solar lights, stucco on the house, grass and palm trees they are responsible for. I’ve attempted to resolve the dying palm tree issue as my home was still under the warranty period. But if it’s not dead, it’s not their problem. Forget about being on the verge of death. The man who came out was condescending and exclaimed that the tree isn’t covered for 10 years.... the home was finished in mid-2020 with a 1 year warranty on the trees.
Buyer beware. This company is not accountable for anything they break or plants they kill (even when covered by warranty)....
I understand losing one individual property may not mean the end of your business but when you go for HOA contracts..... good luck replacing 500 homes later this year.

Congratulations Grasshopper, you worked really hard for this review. Seems like you go out of your way to upset customers every week in our com but this time it hit home literally.
These people showed up without notice, outside of their regularly planned visits to fix some drainage. They then proceeded to dig up holes around our property and they cut the fiber line for our internet. They knew the wire was cut and and said nothing, just went about their business without a care. We alerted them of an internet outage and they showed us the severed cable and said “yea we cut it” with zero remorse.
Got in contact with their Mgr on duty and this woman was really amazing at rubbing salt in the wound. Not only was their zero remorse or an apology from her either but she thought that 1. It was quite fine to show up unannounced to dig up our property and 2. They cut our cable but it’s not their problem. We should work on getting it fixed and let grasshopper know if they need to reimburse us for repairs.

To future HOA providers and folks looking for landscaping companies, do yourself a favor an dodge this bullet.

To Grasshopper owners, fix it! Fix the complacency, the blatant disregard, the disrespect all of it.

Unfortunately Grasshoppers is hired via our Property Management Co. Our neighborhood calls them Grasshackers as they destroy everything they touch. They have damaged all of my gutters around my house. Their ride on equipment destroyed my pavers. Management came out saying it couldn't of been them as they do not drive on our driveways. I have photos of them on 3 different driveways within 1 day and 15 minutes of watching. Please be aware and do not use them.

Contracted through my HOA. They have chipped a windshield, scratched and stained my fence and damaged one of my drain pipes. I understand things happen once in a while but it's too much. I will update my review if they do better.

After calling for service five times over the last 6 to 12 months and no one showing up, they finally told me they are too busy and to find another company. Don’t Waste your time.
