Hubby and I did a date “day” there one time, it was the cutest set up. During the day, we ventured through the nursery and got to see the crew and plants in action. From there, I stayed in contact with Rishi and team, and purchased a few plants and a fiber pot bag (Moringa, Mango and Lavender.) everything was packed neatly, shipped, and delivered safely and timely. Will definitely be ordering more plants for ourselves and as gifts for friends/family in the near future 🙂 and they also offer a gardening lesson every month! Perfect for plantrookies like me!

Upon walking up to the property I felt a strong spiritual strength of just amazing love! Have you felt that going to a place before!? It's extremely rare. Even more rare was the beautiful and knowledgeable Faye who showed us around, educated us on some things we didn't know about, and just had the loveliest conversation with her! We came from Las Vegas, and I called ahead to make sure they were open and had the plants I wanted. When we came they remembered us! They gave us their beautiful bounty as a thank you. 🥺😭😍They said it wasn't much, but we saw so much more! Wow! So delicious and fresh and the plums were sweet despite them saying they would be really sour💖 . I went as a birthday gift, and I couldn't have envisioned a more special birthday. Thank you for making us feel so special and we will absolutely be back! I went back to the desert to add to my food forest Viva Las Eden. I got two ShangriLa mulberry trees, a Barbados cherry, Jupiter grape, Concord grape, and holy basil! I wish I could have gotten them all. Thank you💖💚💚💖

Ordered 2 grapevines online. Came in 2 separate boxes, and was charged 2 separate shipping fees. Could have been one box, and one shipping charge, but ok. It only got worse from there. One of the grapevines was fine, well established roots, two feet tall, many large leaves. The other one came without any label at all, I could only figure out what it was by elimination (the other one was labeled). It was barely 10" tall, 3 tiny yellowing leaves. When I tried to replant it, most of the dirt fell away exposing an undeveloped root ball barely 1/5th of the pot it shipped in. The main stem was less than half of a pencil in thickness, so it shouldn't even have been selected for propagation. Both grapevines were advertised as "Large Tree Pot - 8 to 16" tall plant in 5" x 5" x 12" tall pot." Emailed the seller, asking for a replacement grapevine, properly labeled and well established. 3 days later, no response. Sent a follow up email, a week later get a response asking for a photo. Sent a couple right away. After a few days get a response that they don't see anything wrong with the plant, and that they can't check the roots before shipping. Never mind that you can always see if the roots are sticking out of the bottom of the pot, especially for vigorous root growers like grapes. The other grapevine in the order had plenty of roots sticking out from the bottom. Eventually, they offer a 50% discount. I point out that I don't need an unlabeled half-dead grapevine that will probably take a full year longer to get to fruiting, if it survives transplanting at all. And if they are unable to ship a replacement, I would like a full refund so that I can order another one somewhere else. Never received a reply. Grapevine dies (leaves fully yellow and fall off) after about a month. I open a dispute with PayPal, they never respond. I escalate the case to PayPal. A day before the deadline when the case is decided in my favor (presumably), I get a notification that the seller agreed to provide a full refund, *if* I return the product in its original condition, paying return shipping myself. That was done clearly out of spite. How can I possibly return the grapevine in its original condition, if it died over a month ago?! So much for a great customer service. 🙁

We did a tour with Faye and loved it! A hugely inspiring project and we'll definitely be coming back to them for lovingly grown trees and seedlings. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space to feed and inform the community.

We purchased the organic Pakistan White Mulberry in April 2021. It receives full sun 10-4, when the fence provides some shade from western sun towards the end of the day. It is on a drip irrigation timer and seems happy. This photo is 6 months of summer in Sierra Madre, CA after we planted it. We love learning from nature and sharing our relationship to it. I have enjoyed the workshops I have taken through the farm and the inspiration. Thank you for all you do.

A truly special place, we got a lovely tour and plenty of assistance while exploring this beautiful nursery and community space. Picked up some ground cherries and got a surprise morel. Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely worth the trip, and we came from Templeton, CA. Will be back and look forward to learning and experiencing all the farm has to offer.
