One of the best wineries in Solvang. Quaint and modern, bar seating and indoor lounge vibe with outside fire pit tables. Always delicious. If you are looking to join a wine club the Consilience is our pick. Always reliable and very yummy. Like most of Solvang they are dog friendly.

Went to Consilience Tasting Room and asked for my husband and I to share one glass. This seemed to confuse our server, as she splashed a very small amount of wine in one glass every time. I'm not sure how a winery can help guests appreciate their wines when the server puts 0.5 of an ounce in the glass. We made the most of the tasting, having one little sip each. She was also baffled by my request to have a spit bucket, which is common in the industry. She told us what she liked and didn't like in each of the wines she served us, and not much more; it was as if she had not understood how to help guests understand the wines. I was reticent to ask her any more questions as she seemed unable to respond to questions such as "what's the soil like? what clone vines are planted? etc.

After tasting, I was waiting for our server to return to our table, but she was busy mopping the tasting room floor (also weird at 3:30 pm). We stood up and left without purchasing any wine.

While the Conscilience wines were ok, the service was so odd and off-putting, I doubt we'll return. I do hope they'll consider reeducating the blonde woman wearing a black outfit and knit beanie who works in the tasting room today. It will make the guest experience more fulfilling.

I’ve been a Consilience wine club member for many years and I’ve enjoyed wines from my travels all over the world. I can’t say enough good about the staff, fantastic service, always courteous and helpful, and the wines are absolutely top shelf, some of the finest without a doubt. I have never been disappointed and have always enjoyed a personal relationship and formed friendships over the years with some of the staff when ordering additional cases. I moved to SC in June of 2021, a state not on the shipping list HOWEVER I’m thrilled that since then, they have licensing to ship to SC and I am over the moon happy!!! Can’t wait for my first case to arrive and share with friends !!! Happy Margo in Hilton Head Bluffton.

Pretty wine tasting room in Los Olivos, but the Italian varietals are terrible examples. I believe the Dolcetto and Barbera are tainted with brett and shouldn't be served but the staff at the counter don't know better. If you know your wine, you won't want to taste here. Save your money for much better tasting opportunities such as Carhartt and Gehrs>

Beautiful place, delicious wine and very friendly staff! The new location is right on the main Street of Solvang. They occasionally have some great live music too.
