Ordered some of their pistachio rolls, and it was the first to be devoured at the dessert table. The owner was super accommodating and cut the rolls in a smaller size. This is a business that takes their craft very seriously and does it well. Highly recommend.

A must visit even if you order online most of the time. I walked in and the aroma of butter and spices hypnotized me. I’ve eaten Baklava from far away places like Istanbul Turkey. I tried Baklava King on Balboa Ave. The Bakkava here has layers upon layers of flavor that are separate but blend together with every single bite! Others you may as well simply dip pastry into a bowl of honey because sweet is all that can be distinguished. With Baklava King you can acknowledge the butter, spices, and fresh ground pistachios separately! Very high quality product and worth every penny!!

First review I’ve ever written in my life, but they’re worth it: my fiancé and I bought the big baklava rolls at a cafe near our house for years and loved them. One day, we saw them restocking them, and saw the name, and the rest is history. I’ve been buying boxes from these guys in bulk for years, and usually buy one of the $30 or $50 boxes as gifts then we keep one in the house. The king and his queen are exceptional people who always give you a little free gift of baklava whenever you stop in. It’s been a loving relationship for years and I hope it never ends.

They are not the best baklava in the USA, they are the best baklava in the world. I visited Turkish baklava makers in Berlin and even went to city of Antep, the birthplace of baklava. The taste, the consistency, the addicting flavor that hooks you up - nowhere else offers this but Baklava King. They are made to order, so it is not like any of the baklava you would find in supermarkets that are dry and days old. America's finest city is the home to world's finest baklava.

The good experience started with a co-worker offering me a piece of pistachio Burma that he picked that day! Most fresh and yummy baklava I ever tasted! Confession: I normally don’t eat baklava for dessert because they are too sweet for my taste. However, one bite of the pistachio burma, I cannot help myself but to pick up the second piece!

Then I ordered a couple boxes for the New Year’s Eve party! Picking up from the production establishment is also a treat. Once I walked in, I was overwhelmed with the good smell of baklava! People were really friendly! They also gave a couple more pieces as a gift. The orders can also be shipped by mail. This is a good party dessert or for own consumption!
