I had a really rough week and wanted to pick up sandwiches for me and my poor sister (who has the flu) after locking myself out of work and dropping my busted car off at the shop all in 1 morning. When I got to the counter, I realized there was something weird about my sandwich order and called my sister to double check.

Jodi (I am sure I'm spelling her name wrong) at the sandwich counter heard my confusion on the phone, and stopped to check on me. I told her there were twice as many sandwiches in my bag than I wanted and it looked like the order got duplicated. She dropped everything she was doing to help me. Together we looked for a manager to help.

While we were looking, Jodi got asked a question by another customer and helped them quickly and efficiently. She was extremely friendly and handled the question with grace and patience despite being busy with me.

We fixed the mistake and I only paid for the 2 sandwiches I wanted. Shout out to Jodi for that because I'm about to be broke after I pick my car up. I hope someone behind the counter got the extra 2 sandwiches for lunch 🙂

This story is just one of many good ones I have about interactions with employees at this location. I come here often because it's down the street from my office. The customer service is always incredible, and the store is always extremely clean.

A fine local grocery store with lots of organic fruits and vegetables. They also make great subs and rotisserie chicken.
I also like that they often have unique things that customers request. The put some on the shelves and mark it as “Customer Requested”. It’s really nice!
Not as large as a big chain like Safeway, but still a good selection of products.

Best grocery store in Redding. Service is outstanding. Selection is solid. A little pricey but its worth it for casual shopping. Tri Tip is AWESOME. Sushi is AWESOME.

Cashier at the register next to the deli/sit down area was rude and didn't start scanning my items until I addressed her even tho I was son the phone. I was the only customer in line. She started at me for a good 20 seconds before even scanning my items while I was on the phone and looking for my wallet. Very unnerving, rude, and just downright weird. Never had a bad experience at this holiday until now.

My bestie & I recently shopped at Holiday Market (on Placer) and apparently we didn't get a copy of the dress code outlining what is acceptable to wear while shopping and what makes you look like a criminal
An employee followed us the entire time - getting in our way & checking what was in ouretc and when we were paying I asked to see a manager & she told me that we looked like criminals... I was so offended & insulted... I had quite a bit money in my wallet and I have a good balance in my bank I just didn't realize that I need to have my wedding dress dry cleaned when I shop at Holiday...
The truth is, I'm not stepping one toe in that store... They have an excellent bakery & deli and they have many things you can't always find elsewhere BUT I frequent businesses that have excellent customer service and this store has close to the worst customer service I've ever seen...
I will never shop there again...

Best sandwiches in town. They can be a little pricey, but it's worth every cent. They don't skimp on ingredients, you get lots of quality meat and other toppings on all of the sandwiches. As for the rest of the store, it's always clean and well lit. The checkout lines are never busy, and the staff is always fast getting people checked out. I don't know if they recently renovated, but the entire store feels fresh and modern. Their produce is a little pricier than most other stores, but it's good quality.
