There's an official Bandai Namco store inside of Mitsuwa supermarket now. Make a right by the vegetables section. If you are a Bandai fan, it is nice to see all the gacha balls, Gundam models, Tamshii Nation figures and other Bandai stuff. The supermarket itself is OK. I like getting Japanese beer, onigiri and shrimp rice crackers. Expect OK wait times when checking out. They have a self check-out section.

Mitsuwa market has been consistently great at providing difficult to find groceries; as well as new experiences through their demonstration kitchen.

I had returned from Japan 2 weeks before my visit. Also, I had stopped at a Korean market just before we went here. The produce looked lively but was a bit more expensive. There were lots of unique grocery supplies. We enjoyed the snack aisle. Lots to choose from.

Decent parking lot, lots of variety in the store for Japanese products. They've also got a bandai gachapon store inside now next to the produce section. That may sound a little strange, but it's in a separate area, has gunpla, tamashi nation stuff, and a play area that seems to be dedicated to the one piece trading card game.

It is no wonder that people who just came back from a Japan trip flock to this place to find a piece of it here. The raw fish is fresh and sold right next to the saran-wrapped real wasabi so it's so easy to go back and make your own nigiri or sushi. People who want to go back to Japan do these as well.

The marketplace houses a quick order food, including the simple but popular ramen place, a crepe place, a mochi donut store, as well as rotating vendors selling things like dried seafood and dessert waffles. Sometimes they have food events with more stalls and pop-ups. The ever famous Mochicream is also inside the market. At a little more than $2 apiece, it makes a great and more unique dessert gift than a box of macarons. They sell them individually and in boxes of 6 or 12.

There are 3 new-ish stores selling Japanese beauty products and the like, sort of like expensive Daisos. I can find one brand of eyeliner here that I am fond of. There is a table seating area with bathrooms and the entrance to the bookstore is right next to it.

I can find my favorite Hawaii shortbread here as well as all the Asian liquor I can dream of in beautiful bottles, citron sake, peach blossom wine. They also have packaged mochi, fresh mochi from other stores, mochi in bags. There's another store in here that sells pickled things. I could keep listing things but you get the picture. Yes, some of the staff can be a stickler for rules that don't make sense and the groceries can be overpriced and not fresh so you should use your common sense as usual. I won't knock off a star just for things like that.

Large Japanese market with everything you can think of. I bought some snacks. I recommend the melon bread, delicious!

Nice and convenient Japanese market. We love to go there to buy some specific Japanese ingredients/ seasoning/ kitchen tools to make sushi or other Japanese / Asian dish. Often we also like to go there because we like the ramen food court inside Mitsuwa. It's simple delicious ramen. My kids also like to check out the book store inside as well. The book store is cute selling a good selection of pens, office stuff, Japanese and some English books/ comics. And last but not least grabbing yummy roasted chestnut from a small cart vendor right in the front.

I found this secret gem inside Mitsuwa supermarket , felt like i went to Japan while I was in this little area . The happiest moments I can bring my kids there for some fun and Adventures 😅
