As a domestic student who has previously attended other colleges, St Clair College has a wonderful array of features, amenities, and opportunities available to it that many other institutions don't offer.

The protection, security, and investigation program (PSI) has well-informed and kind professors who stress the importance of the career you'll be leading once graduating from the school. They realistically prepare you for what is expected in the field and physically train you.

In terms of extracurriculars... it's really what you make of it. To me, collegiate eSports is HUGE here. They have an excellent venue, professional arena, and superb gaming lab for all students to use. Scholarship opportunities ($$$) and related program are pretty well managed and worth looking into, if you're a competitive/skilled gamer.

Now... for the complaints. Some of the staff (and certain profs) can be rude and blunt, particularly in the finance and other service areas. This may make it difficult for those who have to deal with international ordeals. Furthermore, it is mildly bothersome when handling online ordeals via school email as some staff and/or profs will leave it unread or not respond at all.

Frankly, your experience with the school will heavily depend on what program you're in due to these behavioral issues and student experience can be hit-or-miss, but for me overall: it's great.

I really respected this institution. But its unfortunate how International students are being treated by the finance Department because of the system. I came inperson to file for a refund and realised how the manager there is taking advantage of the system to deny students of their fund by asking them to get some particulardocuments which yhey knkw its impossible and not even in any constitution. And I have fallen a victim yet I won't give up on my fees. I was already in Canada befor I applied to study in St. Clair., you sit in the office and requesting for documents which you know perfectly it's not possible to get and its even not in any constitution. Let me ask Do students in Canada need PAL to study in Canada.? Should a student pay for 1st Sem Fall fees, while his/her semester begins in winter...? These are few of them that I have released..
I am calling for my fees back I don't care about your NON REFUNDABLE FEE. TAKE IT AND RETURN MY REMAINING FEES. I WILL FIGHT TILL MY FEES ARE RETURNED..
Im Very Disappointed how some managers take advantage of the system. In so doing put a reputation school in question mark..

Campus is large and difficult to navigate at first. After two weeks however, I had no problems finding anything, including my room for each class.

Paying was easy and quick as well as applying online. Most of my teachers are very nice and easy to understand, open to questions.

Parking is a bit of a mess. There are so many students and often little parking especially if you want to park close to your building. I am speaking only from having attended the main campus, so I cannot speak to the other parts of the College.

There are wonderful and free student services which include counselling and tutoring. The library is complete and easy to navigate. The staff is welcoming and friendly, always happy to give directions or lend a hand.

I am pleased with St.Clair College and would highly recommend it to any students pursuing a post secondary education.

The teachers I had were great. However the admin kinda dropped the ball on sending transcripts to the LSO for the paralegal class to write their exam… which we now cannot write because transcripts were never sent when we were told they would be.

Unprofessional and Discriminatory Behavior by Nathaniel VeltKamp, Director of International Education

I am writing this review anonymously due to concerns about potential retaliation for speaking out. My recent interactions with Nathaniel VeltKamp, the Director of International Education, have raised serious concerns about his conduct toward international students.

During a recent encounter, Mr. VeltKamp explicitly stated, as a Canadian citizen, that we as international students "do not belong here" and that we "should be back in our country." Such statements are not only deeply offensive but also entirely unacceptable, especially coming from someone whose role is to support and advocate for international students. His words and actions suggest a lack of respect for the diversity and inclusion that should be central to his role.

This is not an isolated incident, as other reviews have documented similar behavior from Mr. VeltKamp in the past. It is deeply troubling that someone with such views holds a position of authority over international students. The administration must take immediate and serious action to address this matter. It is crucial that St. Clair College reassesses whether Mr. VeltKamp is truly fit to serve in his current role, given the gravity of his conduct.

The well-being and success of international students should be a top priority for the college. Allowing this type of behavior to continue unchecked sends a damaging message about the institution's commitment to diversity and inclusion. I strongly urge the administration to take this issue seriously and ensure that all students are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.

After reading all the reviews. I want to cancel my plan for get admission this collage.I have recive my offer letter jist 6 hours after my application.Maximum indian students reviews= They revoke their admission after they recieve offer letter and submit the course fee too.They are only do enjoy all your fee's after u get offer letter and submit 1 year fee.Be aware students choose another collage avoid this type of fraud collages.

St. Clair College of Applied arts and technology is a college established in 1967 in Ontario, Canada. It has its campus located in Essex and Chatham-Kent counties of Ontario. The college is a branch of the Western Ontario Institute of Technology. Western Ontario Institute of Technology and the Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology merged to give birth to St. Clair College of Applied arts and technology.
The college's campus is spread all over southern Ontario. The biggest campus is located in Windsor, Ontario. The other campuses are Chatham Campus and Downtown campuses. It recently built a sports complex called Sportsplex. With all the expansion that the college is undertaking, it has become the main part of the state of Ontario and is contributing a lot to its development.
The college offers programs in various subjects. It provides over 100 programs including diploma, degree, certificate and postgraduate certificate to its students. It offers courses in Applied Technology, Liberal arts and sciences, business and IT, community studies, engineering, media and design. It offers bachelor's degrees in science, arts, education, medical, etc. To ensure that deserving students do not lose the opportunity for education due to want of money, the college spends over $3 million in scholarships every year. College is serving over 8,500 full time and 20,000 part-time learners on three campuses
St. Clair has been home to several well-known people who've made it big in the corporate world. The college is known as the best college in the state of Ontario. Matt Boismier, an art director graduated from here in the year 2006.

St. Clair College Sports Park is an exciting place for students and others with facilities for soccer, softball, beach volleyball courts, and indoor tennis courts. Soccer ⚽ field with artificial turf and around 1,500 seat for funs.
