Recently our Queen Creek AZ Sprouts Farmers Market started selling Tonascia Farms Acorn Squash. I am thrilled to be able to purchase these big beautiful winter squashes because they are the richest, most buttery flavored Acorn squash I have ever eaten. The flesh is a golden yellow, cooks thoroughly in the oven and releases from the outer skin easily. We like it pureed with butter and cinnamon. A great healthy treat with meals. Rude. They hover when your picking out pumpkins because they are so paranoid you will steal. I felt very uncomfortable even though I paid. I left and will never take my kids there again. Very overpriced and minimal selection.
