I avoid Walmart like the plague. The workers are rude the managers are even worse. And you are treated like you have done something wrong if you go in line with a actual cashier and like a thief if you go through self checkout!!!
As bad as dollar general is and higher priced i go through their store because quicker.
Walmart has went down hill.. I wish they would actually care about their business and customers because almost everyone i know feels the same. And if I absolutely have to use Walmart I try doing pick up or delivery!!! And with delivery I have to send it to my mom's house because we have tried having it delivered to our home but we never get it.

Multiple excuses over an item return. The original Walmart confirmed the receipt was showing up in their system via phone call but kept getting the runaround here. Needed to visit the money center also and was held up so long that they closed. Went to another local Walmart with the item and receipt (which at this point was really faded) and had NO problem whatsoever with returning. Customer service just didn’t want to do their job here and made multiple excuses.

I’ve been shopping here for years the store is looking rough I remember when I was a little kid and sat down in the McDonald’s which is now a subway? shopping here is great you can get your favorite foods and snacks I would slightly recommend going.

Went to buy a universal remote and everything seems to be getting locked in cases now. Cheap things are locked up and higher on the shelf makes no sense. Walmart if your going to lock up your items you need someone available at all times to get it out. I refuse to go through the fiasco I went through. Having to have a employee called twice and none showed up. I mean seriously, do you expect people to wait all day for a 6 dollar item? Dollar stores have them on the shelf. Stop with the stupidity. Hire security if you need it, the case idea is going to cost you customer's. We are not going to wait on a employee that can't be found.

I use this WM because it's close, but also because they hire good people. About 11 weeks ago, we had another horrific storm and, as usual, my power went out. I went to WM for supplies: batteries, coolers with ice, battery operated lights and fans, etc. For the first time in my life, I locked my keys in my van. WM had just closed, the parking lot was empty, and my phone and purse were locked inside the van with my keys and the melting ice. The night guard came around, called a locksmith, and waited with me. But the locksmith never came. A WM associate named Brenda (last name purposefully omitted for her protection) drove by on her way home. She stopped to find out what the problem was, then stayed while we waited for the locksmith. When he still didn't come, she called and the dispatcher said, "Oh well, we sent him somewhere else first." Brenda cancelled the locksmith, then drove me (a total stranger) home to get my spare keys (over 15 miles round trip), then back to WM, and waited until I was safe inside my "running" vehicle before she left. AND she would not take any money for her troubles, not even for gas! NOW--that's a TRULY AMAZING individual. And she is a prime example of the other WM associates I have met at this Semmes location. Thank you Brenda. Thank you Walmart.

I strongly recommend those who are working in the Pickup department be more honest with the actual times they are bringing items out to the customers. This is an ongoing problem. Substitutes that I have requested not to be included in my order are being included regularly because they are prematurely stating the items have been picked up when they have not. Once they've selected the items that have been picked up, it can not be changed in the system. When brought to their attention, an attitude ensues. Customer service is becoming progressively worse at this location. It isn't everyone, but it is quite a few. That's okay, though, because there is a Publix that will be opening soon, not too far from this location.

Walmart is one of my favorite stores to shop in especially since their remodels. At times depending on the managers some of the employees act like we’re bothering them and they’re to busy looking at their phones.

Some employees need to be more helpful and polite. The store needs more products being restocked earlier in the afternoon. Can't find anything after 4 pm.
