Desert Straw House Nursery was a wonderful experience. Lisha's knowledge of native plants was fascinating. I bought two trees, two of our butterflies host plants, and two other native shrubs, all in large pots and very healthy. I thought they were an exceptional value! I reccommend making the trek up to this ecological oasis, your landscaping efforts will surely be successful.

Visited this wonderful small nursery today that specializes in desert plants native to the Coachella Valley. The owner is approachable, conversant and very knowledgeable about the subject and generously shared her expertise with us. We bought a beautiful native cactus to plant outdoors, but I wanted to get so much more.

Desert native and desert adapted plants are hard to find at our local nurseries. Desert Straw House had a wide selection of plants propagated and grown right here in our area.
