No large bags which I could understand but it was definitely targeted as we were the only young and non-white people shopping. When I told the employee "what about those other people with large purses?" I was told "those don't count"

I don't mind leaving my bag but you better make everyone do it not pick and choose.

This Goodwill store is one I always stop by to shop at whenever I am visiting the area. The store is consistently stocked with plenty of items to make shopping fun and interesting. Items are clearly marked and well displayed. There are dressing rooms available if you wish to try on clothing finds. I recently purchased a nice denim trench coat for $8.99, which I felt was a great value. I also purchased some new looking Puma suede sneakers for $6.99 for another example of items and pricing. The employees at this store are always pleasant and helpful, which makes supporting them a great experience.

I wish the goodwills would go back to the time when you found unexpected treasures that were old and had a history ,the clothing,the furniture and the jewelry BAGS that were stuffed and taped closed. Now the clothing,and merchandise is mostly new, I can go to the other stores for that, jewelry is sold by peice or on line and you get strands of bead necklaces as a filler and less jewelry at double the price. I miss the, good old goodwills when profit wasnt their priority it was about helping out the community or less fortunat.I just like the goodwill

Shopped and found some goods today(07/03 1230-1pm). The staff working today were wonderful. Welcoming. Great attitudes. Kept busy. What I love to see is the coworkers treating eachother with respect and have a team work attitude. Never have a seen anyone degrading another employee for not knowing something. They have playful attitudes and very informative.

I went to drop of a full truckload of mostly brand new clothing and two furniture items. Upon arriving I greated the little individual working and was greated with a blank look. He than began to list off all the items he did not plan to accept. In addition he was rudely telling me to offload my larger items and take them inside myself. I decided I would try the salvation army and they gladly accepted everything and told me thank you. Please consider what organization you are donating to. The salvation army in seaside is right around the corner and much more appreciative of the items donated. This is not the first time goodwill has denied donations from me however this is the first time I knew that I can just go to salvation army and make an actual difference. The cherry on top is when I told the man at Goodwill that I would go and tak my items to salvation army he smirked and said okay and walked away. The Goodwill has most touch with its original mission.

Store is clean, good parking, staff is nice. They have good selection clothes but not too much of other things

On the smaller side of thrift stores, but perhaps big for the Monterey area. The selection of housewares / kitchen items seemed limited. Clean and organized, though. There are discounts during the week for military, etc.

Excellent collection of clothing and shoes in good condition. Pricing is fair. Never crowded and a parking lot to boot!

There is a donation drop off area at the rear of the parking lot.

Their selection of anything other than clothing is sparce but we'll laid out and clean.

Friendly staff and a clean store sets it apart from some of the others. The street it is located on is nice and has a good collection of eateries
