A dear family has put their hearts into the creation of the Wild Poppy cafƩ. The menu is conscious and healthy and most of all so freaking delicious! So much of the cuisine is made in house, the pillowy focaccia, the seasonal and well-seasoned soups, the buttery berry scones, the epic cosmic queso sauce and salsa verde! The drinks are so well-curated. My favorite is the green juice and the Olipops! The atmosphere is so alive and green and gorgeous. There is a patio that edges Atascadero Creek and is populated with oak trees and various flora. The owners have a lovely marketplace as well with thoughtful and gorgeous wares. The Wild Poppy even has take-away options available. You can take home their soups and sauces and focaccia and enchiladas home for later enjoyment. The menu is very friendly to vegans and has many gluten-free options as well. Take a drive to the coast on Bodega Highway, but do yourself a favor and make a stop here first.

Quite possibly the cutest cafe I’ve ever stepped into and enjoyed consistently time after time and after time. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh and makes your body walk away happy as a clam. I still haven’t tried everything on the menu because I keep coming back to my favorites. I’m always looking with jealous eyes to the few things I haven’t tried. The owners and staff are story book wonderful and welcoming. Sincere and hardworking staff without a hiccup. The building and outdoor patio is so so cozy and sweet. How many cafes do you know with a creek running near enough you can watch wildlife while having a coffee and meal? It is a must stop.. local or passerby. Best breakfast / brunch in West County by far.

I recently visited Wild Poppy for the second time, and it was just as great as the first! I tried the mushroom focaccia sandwich… yummy 🤤The French toast and it was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, relaxing and the staff is genuinely friendly, which makes the experience even better.

While waiting for them to open, I had a lovely chat with a vendor delivering microgreens. It was refreshing to see Wild Poppy collaborating with local suppliers to bring fresh ingredients to their dishes. This commitment to quality really shines through in the food. I can’t wait to return !!

Fantastic restaurant from a converted house. It’s stand alone just off the highway. A treat to take your significant one to enjoy the creative dishes. My salad was very tasty and well prepared. Next time I must get the beet salad just to try another.

Wine forward pairings and a quaint patio to chat. Performance from a guitar playing folk singer Lindsey Gang added great ambience to the patio. Visit Wild Poppy you won’t be dissatisfied šŸ„—

As two lifelong residents of Sebastopol
(that’s 40 cat years, mind you), we’ve prowled the town for the purr-fect breakfast spot—and Wild Poppy Cafe takes the crown. The customer service? Absolutely clawsome. Every dish arrives with a smile that warms you as much as the morning sun.

Now let’s talk food: the frittata sandwiches are layered masterpieces, and the French toast? So good it nearly had us purring at the table. The creekside setting, dotted with vibrant wild poppies, feels like a slice of paradise right here in Seeba.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, take it from two seasoned locals—this is the best breakfast spot in town. Just save us a seat by the creek, will ya?

Such a pleasant place to eat! We ate on the beautiful backyard patio under the trees next to the creek, wonderful flowers, all around. The service was friendly and quick. We had the KALE CAESAR SALAD WITH CHICKEN, the MUSHROOM FOCCACIA SANDWICH (FYI- the delicious Mt. Tam cheese had just a hint of blue cheese flavor),and the GOAT CHEESE CROQUETTES. All the dishes were fresh, savory and tasty in every way. Yumalicious! We’ll be back to try everything on the menu cause it was so hard to decide.
Side note: gotta love a spacious bathroom with a window opened to fresh air as well.
