Great nursery in a great location. Huge selection of plants and very knowledgeable staff. Freddy was so helpful and talked us through how to care for each plant and even repotted the plants we chose into pots we brought from home. Customer service is outstanding.

My grandfather affiliated with this nursery in 1944-5 ! Wish I could find out more history about this store. One piece that my grandfather mentions is that a Mr. Rosedale bought it and offered my grandfather a 'buy in'. My mother would share her memories of him working there. Growing up, I remember that my grandfather always kept a garden in his backyard and had the best tomatoes & flowers (plus other things) and a wonderful fig tree.

One of the more legit places to buy exotic and healthy loved plants in Los Angeles without selling your kidney. Be sure to check out the mother Vine that makes up the entire canopy of the facade. It's almost 40 years old and growing out of a barrel in the front left corner. These guys are honest don't try to upsell or steer you wrong.

Just visited this nursery and after thoughtful help from the owner who walked with me to every plant that could be a good choice for my apartment space .. I left with a beautiful monstera and super cute pot to go with it!! He helped me pick the best one and spent time going over the care of the plant and answered the millions of questions I had. Definitely will return and purchase all of my plants here for my place!!

This plant shop feels like you’ve escaped LA and entered a world of plant heaven. More importantly, the staff members know their shh**. Ask for Bernie when you go. He was so helpful and SUPER knowledgeable on all things plants. Answered my million and 1 questions with confidence (and patience). The prices were also decent which I didn’t expect given the location. 10/10 recommend.

Nice staff and selection, but these plants are extremely expensive compared to what I’ve seen elsewhere. They have some very nice specimen of larger plants and I really like the store and house across the street that’s all plants. They didn’t have large bags of soil when I went either- small point but worth noting since I went there for soil!
