I went here with friends tonight and it was delicious. The fried fish reminded me of my dad’s fresh caught-then fried (which has always been very hard to beat in flavor & batter when I order it at restaurants). Everything came out quick, but fresh! Anna was our waitress and we never needed a refill- she made sure we had everything we needed multiple times. The portions are also huge, you will have enough to eat! Great experience!
Ps- if you love sweet coleslaw, you will love it here.

It's been a long time since I ate here. Very good service and some of the best iced tea on the eastern shore. Ordered the lunch portion of the catfish basket, with cole slaw and okra. I thought the lunch portion was at best, skimpy. The fish was tasty, and so was the okra and the obliglitory hush puppies. I can not come up with a reason to order the coleslaw on a future visit.

Lunch time is the best time, it's not crowded and you don't have a long wait for your food 8.8 outta 10 but the last server we had was terrible ? so it might be awhile before we return there

Definitely recommend! The firecracker shrimp are amazing for a starter. Would suggest the coleslaw and turnip greens as a side. They shrimp was a little over boiled and the fries wers cold but everything else was great!

Excellent service & food! Our waitress, Trisha, was amazing and checked on us often, refilling our tea and making sure we had everything we needed. The fish poboy, gumbo, and fried okra was amazing!! This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to!

Service was terrible. Not just our waitress but others around us. Food was really good. Do take out or spend a few more bucks and do Half Shell if it's a date night.

Absolutely loved the catfish so fresh and the turnip greens was the best ever . A must stop by and eat in Spanish Fort Al . All you can eat or just order take out you will not be disappointed. Our server Lisa was awesome & so friendly. Highly recommend David’s Catfish!

The fish was terrific, as was the fried shrimp, the slaw was the best .
Hushpuppies were not as crispy as I expected.
Out server Emily was very good.
All in all we were pleased.
I recommend this to everyone!
