Alejandro and Paola (cashier) were kind and accommodating. I found this spot on Yelp and it was a friendly, delicious, and welcoming experience. Parking was EASY! The drive to the restaurant from my hotel was scenic with ocean views. I thank you for your service and kindness.

Urban Plates in Long Beach is awesome! Alejandro Lopez was so helpful when I was trying to decide what to order; there are so many options! I loved the chicken tenders and roasted mushrooms 😋 Alejandro mentioned the cookies and I tried the chocolate chip 🤤
The mango tart is delicious too! The quality of the food is great, the prices are reasonable and all the food we tried was very tasty. Alejandro recommended the hummingbird cake and we will definitely return to have some cake while sitting outside next to their open flame heaters. Huge shout out to Urban Plates for doing such a great job training their staff and creating a pleasant environment for us to have all the delicious food on the menu. See you again soon!

I’ve always been impressed with the sizable portions at urban plates. There’s a vast array of menu items that are equally satisfying and healthy. Ordering at the counter and having your order delivered table side is the norm, and inside, the restaurant is modernly decorated. The food is savory. My only complaint would be the pricing, but one should expect that when enjoying such a delicious, healthy meal.

High quality food in a casual environment for a fair price. The Asian chicken salad was great and full of flavor. I also love the mango tart and variety of tea options here. For a quick order at the counter meal urban plates surprised me with the quality of food while not sacrificing speed. Highly recommend

Located in a nice plaza. Super good food and service. My server, Emely, was very nice and she’s very easy to talk too. We started talking how we had the same name (very common) then the conversation flowed. She definitely made me day and made me feel welcomed.
