Fantastic fruit in a simple set up. Bring some shears, grab a bucket, and fill it to bursting for $50 ($1/pom?). Ask what to look for before you start, only after did I find out that cracked fruit means it’s the ripest. Super friendly family (parents and their school aged kids), she even gave us a bottle of water to help wash my toddlers sticky self after eating a whole pomegranate. Great way to spend an hour or so outside in the sun on a fall day

We got 30 pomegranates for $50. It was the first day of picking and it seemed like a lot of the bigger ones were already picked. The ones we did pick were decent. But, there were a lot already cracked or rotting. We were a little disappointed. We drove about 1 1/2 hours to reach there. Also, just to let people know. The field is full of goat droppings. Which does stick to the soles of your shoes. I would recommend a rainboat. Which I wore. We wouldn't drive that distance and pay toll again. For people that live nearby, it seems like a fun experience to try and to support local farms.

It was our first time picking pomegranates! Such a great deal for fresh organic pomegranates. They provide buckets and boxes for transport. Just bring shears.

We had accidentally locked our keys out of the car and I had a newborn unneeded to nurse while we waited for aaa to unlock the car. The owner was very kind and provided her car for me to nurse in with the AC on, a Barney show on, and a cold bottle of water.

We'll definitely make this a family tradition every year from now on!
