This place was incredible, she is extremely knowledgeable of gardening, raising animals, and how to cook healthy with everything in her garden. She was very warm and welcoming. And she does so much for the community. It was truly an honor to meet her. I had such an experience during my time with Nana!! I will most definitely be returning. I got to see the amazing garden as well as the multiple amount of animals. Even cooler, I got to help prepare a chicken! For the first time ever! And I received so much background knowledge of community gardening. Auntie, thank you for opening up your home for me and serving me lunch. Thank you for help nurturing me back to health bc I was working on an empty empty stomach, almost passed out. ALL the HOMEMADE food was INCREDIBLE. Nana’s Homestead is the place to support your local community through organic healthy eating. Thank YOU!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤗

THE BEST FRIED RIBS I’VE EVER TASTED!! And the spicy bbq sauce on the side just tops it off 😋 Her greens were amazing as well! Plus, Nanna is the most caring person ever and you can taste the love in her food. Thank you so much!!

I have to say we had a blast over Nanna's Homestead.
We will be going back. Nanna knows what she is talking about, willing to share her knowledge.
The boys was able to hold 🐖 and chickens.
She was making goat taco and the sauce was amazing.

Great garden in such a little space. And the proprietor (Nanna) is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Her philosophy of "teach a kid to fish, rather than give them the fish" is evident through her enthusiasm to educate all. Such a wonderful little jewel in a concrete environment.

Very friendly in a family way. We had an education on organic food, fed the goats and pigs. Harvested what we need for now. She had onions, yam's, potatoes, greens, swiss chard, kale, peppers sweet and hot. Basil, sage, cilantro, thyme, mint well worth the trip. I'm definitely going back with the grandkids.
