Kyle and Maycrest Hardware "walk the walk" in supporting the community. My son was working on his Eagle Scout project and made donation requests at a few places and the bureaucracy at all of them was disheartening. That was not nearly the case at Maycrest. Not only did Kyle jump at the chance to help and donate, the excitement he and his team showed to help made my son smile. The day he showed up to pick up the donated materials the team painstakingly went board by board to make sure he got the best possible ones for for his project.
My son's project came out beautifully.

Started talking with Maycrest on Facebook messenger about their commercial mowers, then discovered it was the actual owner Kyle, he answered every single question, I think he works 24/7 cause his response to questions was almost immediately! Finally visited in the store and when I walked in a lady asked if she could him me find something and I asked if Kyle was around, she then said “oh I can find him he’s my husband” and she asked for my name. Soon as I told her she knew why I was there, and Kyle was in their shop working a mower issue and came right out! We spent about an hour talking and looking at all the mower options and they have every option you can think of in handheld yard tools with their Echo brand, which most landscapers will tell you is nothing short of top notch equipment! I have been in and out Maycrest Hardware my whole life and this place has always been the premier hardware store in Savannah, but, Kyle and his wife, their team has definitely stepped up their game in hardware and home care and maintenance!

Butch is very friendly, professional, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for all your help with my Dyson vacuum cleaner. I fully recommend every one with questions, repairs and concerns regarding vacuum cleaners to come visit Butch.

I was on my way to Maycrest get a new blade for my chainsaw. Blew a tire and creeped into MAYCREST. Not only did they help me put my donut on then fixed the tire. They recommended me to a place down the street which put it on for me. I got my chainsaw and went back to buy a new chain. They looked at it set the chain right for me and I'm ready to begin work. Thank you to all the staff at Maycrest. What could have been a really bad day was a successful, stress free learning experience.

This store is the Best GREATEST hardware store in Savannah! Y'all I bought a lawnmower from them this summer. It's awesome. I didn't know about this Toro brand but Riley educated
me. My mower is going strong still. I LOVE IT! ITS self propelled. Better price than Lowes or Home Depot ! And they were soooo nice to me. No long lines. I MOWED & used it almost every two weeks IN my huge yard. Amazing how they sold it to me & also educated me on how to put it together, how to store it and other details about how to use it. I bought other things for my bathrooms, at GREAT PRICES for my whole house and yard. This store could be your one stop place.... GO THERE!! you'll be glad you did. I promise.

IM GOING TO BUY my CHRISTMAS Presents THERE ! Very satisfied! Ever since Pete Cates took over it became a best clean top notch place in which to shop !!!! 😀!

Nowhere in Savannah can you find customer service like Maycrest provides! Twice this week Andrew helped me out, exhibiting knowledge and understanding of my situation, plus genuine care and concern. In today's world, you just don't find those qualities so I'm a customer for life!
