Me and my boyfriend had such an incredible time here! We got to feed the goats, hold the babies and try some different fruit along the way! The tour ended with a delicious cheese tasting and we were welcome to stay longer to pet the goats. Highly recommend this experience 🙂

Took out your this morning and had a great time. Ryan was willing to answer all of our questions and we learned a lot about the dairy industry in Kauai. The tour was very interesting. We got to meet the current milking herd and meet the babies. We even got to hold some of the babies. We also got to learn about multiple local fruits and got to taste the edible ones during our walk around the farm. We were able to see where the cheeses they make are created and got to end with a tasting of all their delicious cheeses. Definitely enjoyed your tour and would do it again.

Such a fun tour! Great for kids too and very educational. Holding the baby goats was definitely the highlight!! We visited in May so that may not be available year round. Delicious Chev cheeses and other local goodies for sale as well. Lots of fruit and cheese and juice to sample. Thank you!

We've been enjoying their cheeses and soaps since 2007... they are also offering delicious juices and honey now too. We did the tour last time we visited and it was very fun & informative. They will ship the soaps to the mainland... we froze some cheeses and brought them back in our carry on luggage. Yum!

A charming working farm run by a family who share their day-to-day experiences with the goat cheese making process. Amazing Chevron (goat cheese)! The tour starts with juice and banana bread while owner waits for all guests to arrive.

Despite several other reviews on the web, there is no opportunity for kids to milk the goats. The goats are in a pen and only accessible through one fence that everyone must jockey for space. In the beginning of the tour, the owner allows the guests to feed the goats while he explains the different breeds along with their characteristics and demeanor. The son who runs the tour, and primary business owner, provides branches from local vegetation to feed the goats through the fence. This is the most interaction guests will have with the goats and is the shortest part of the tour.

The bulk of time spent is walking the property while the owner gives education on the different types of trees and plants. He gives out samples of some of the fruit as well as honey from his bees. This is a very educational experience and you learn a lot about the medicinal properties of several trees and plants.

The tour of farm ends in the milking room and kitchen. Our group was only moderately sized but because the limitations of the space we're split into separate groups. You will let's go into the milking room where someone explains the process how much milk they get from each breed of goat, the time it takes, what they feed them, how many times a day to do it, and ends with guests questions. You are then led into the kitchen area where they explain how the cheese is processed, what they use to make cheese, and how they package it.

After the tour the owner brings out a half a dozen different cheese flavors along with crackers to sample. The cheese is Simply Amazing and if you plan on buying any more than what you can eat on the way home, you probably want to pack it cooler to keep this on ice. They have a table of several homemade items that they sell aside from the cheese.

All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend it. That said, there was a substantial let down with the kids given that we were under the impression that they could milk the goats and interact with them a bit more. Other than some misguided reviews online that set our expectations a little higher, everyone had a good time.
