We went twice to Adela's Country Eatery on the same day. First we came for the Ube Cheesecake and the Macadamia Crusted Cheesecake. Absolutely delicious. The Ube Cheesecake was our favorite, and definitely a must try! We came back in the evening for the number 3 (Lechon with Garlic), but we switched out the Ube Noodles for Avocado noodles. We shared the noodles with the two of us, it is a lot of food! I would definitely recommend this place. Make sure to order the food beforehand by phone, they will tell you in how much time your food will be ready.

"Adela's County Eatery in Hawaii is truly one of the best places to eat, and we couldn't agree more with the glowing reviews. We ordered avocado noodles and taro noodles with lechon to go, and they were absolutely delicious. The noodles were exceptional, and everything was packed perfectly for takeout. Highly recommend

Some of the best food on the island. Call ahead! They make everything to order so you do have to wait a bit to get your food, but they pick up the phone, they take your order and let you know a realistic time to come get it. The food is pricey BUT you get soooo much of it. One plate is more than enough food for two people. But it's hard to pick just one item! And you absolutely must get a dessert. The ube cheesecake and the guava cheesecake are pure perfection. Especially after such a savory meal. I've been here more than once, it's that good. Also the kind people working there make the experience that much more enjoyable. You have to take it to-go they do not have a dine-in option. There's always parking out front however.

Yum! So interesting and a never ending menu. The noodles were delicious and I’d love to go back and try other items. One star off since it’s so expensive. The portions are gigantic, I really really wish they gave size options when ordering. I would order an extra small and try three or four things! Instead I got two dishes and they were impossible for two people to finish. Even though it was tasty, it doesn’t reheat well and the portion is just too much. I had the moringa noodles and the taro as well. Both were unique flavors. The lady at the front has great energy and very kind. It was about a 10 min wait after ordering so good to call ahead if you’re in a rush. No where to sit and eat- takeaway. I tried the calamansi cheesecake and didn’t love it. The haupia was grainy and not good. Recommend sticking to noodles!

Adelas Country Eatery is located just minutes from windward mall and is a local Hawaiian based noodle restaurant.

As soon as you walk in the doors, you are greeted with the warmest of smiles from Millie. Millie has used local Hawaiian ingredients to make some of the most amazing noodles from taro, to sweet potato, ube, to her famous ulu (breadfruit) noodles.

Everything is handmade fresh and is made up on order so be patient as your order can take 20-30 minutes to prepare.

There is no seating on site but you can walk in to place your order. It comes out piping hot so whether you eat it outside or take it home, it's still hot and ready to eat.

This time I got recommendation to try the taro noodles with shrimp, Luau leaves, mushrooms and coconut cream sauce. We also tried Okithe nawan Sweet Potato Ube noodles with Lechon (Pork Belly) & Garlic.

We went around dinner so was aline out the door but definitely worth the wait.

Will be back to try the other pasta options!! Thank you Millie!!

Store is small but service is extraordinary. The lady at the front registration was super nice in welcoming us. She was very thorough about the menu and giving explanation and confirmation on food and orders.
However, food would cost you a fortune. And the taste to me is less than expectation. The fried fish had too much breading outside and the spicy sauce was salty. Hubby liked the avocado noodles but I found the seafood sauce with it also way too salty. We couldn't eat much the food on the first day, and tossed away the majority of the leftovers the next day. Maybe better luck with other food on the menu.
The passion fruit cheese cake was delicious.

We called ~20 minutes before arriving at the store and they had our order ready! Overall, delish! Loved the toppings we got - mushrooms, lechon (crispy pork belly), and garlic butter shrimp. 1000% will be back.

Food:
Ube and avocado noodles - fresh and cooked to al dante. Ube noodles are grayish purple in color and avocado noodles are bright green. Loved the consistency of the noodles!

Portobello Mushroom - sautéed and seasoned to perfection! Umami flavors all over!

Lechon - super crispy outside and soft-chewy inside. Amazing flavors!

Shrimp - fat and juicy soaked in garlic butter. I love garlic so this was perfect for me.

Original secret sauce - I got it spicy and it fit perfectly with the toppings to give it a kick.

Ube cheesecake - very thick cheesecake. I didn't really get ube flavors since I tasted more of creamcheese but it was a darn good cheesecake. The crust was crunchy.

The food was so good that my boyfriend wanted to drive back here again from Honolulu before we left the island.

Amazing flavors and service was fast. The store is pick up only. There are several free parking lots in front of the store.

This place totally exceeded my expectations. Our friends had told us about this place, but I expected more a gimmicky eatery, but it turned out to be a culinary euphoria. The pastas had great texture, the sauce was flavorful and the toppings were high in both quality and quantity. It has some popular dishes and also make your own pasta. I had the avocado pasta, lechon and Florentine sauce consisted of garlic butter and finely chopped vegetables. Our other order was taro pasta in Alfredo sauce and huge shrimps, which was very tasty. The lechon was probably the best I ever had. We also got its very popular ube cheesecake that was also delicious. The wait was long and there was no eating area. The lady who took our order was wonderful and helpful. We took our pastas to the beach at He’eia State Park and had a memorable lunch. Totally worth the 30-minutes drive from Waikiki and we do expect to come here often in the future with our friends from mainland, or just by ourselves. Caveat: this is not a cheap takeaway only place, for the two us it costed us over $90 (tips included), but it was so worth it. Also, since the servings were pretty big, sharing maybe a good idea. Neither of us finished our pastas and didn’t eat the dessert until we got home.

Italian Asian fusion restaurants are quite popular on Oahu and we’ve tried many. This one by far was the best. Their different types of homemade pastas (taro, avocado, ube, breadfruit, etc.) were unique and true to the textures of Italian pastas. Its butter garlic sauce was also true to Italian pasta sauce. We will try other non-Italian sauces next time. The toppings or proteins are more Asian based and made an interesting and tasty combination with Italian pastas.
