Just sharing here that the Mobile Market is a really great way for visitors to gain access to really fresh and diverse food during a visit.
You can make a free account from the Sustainable Moloka'i webpage. You can preview and "mark as favorites" items you are interested in. On Sunday at 3 pm until Tuesday at noon of each week, you can place your order. You then pick it up on Thursday (two locations, both easy to get to). You drive through at the time slot that corresponds to your last name so there is very little waiting. & PLEASE PUT ON YOUR Mask, even though you are outside/in your car. Please be respectful. *
Food changes every week. See the images attached for what we bought the 1st week of Feb 2022. You can get
* prepared food,
*fresh food,
*plants to give as gifts to people you meet on the island,
* jars of spicy sauces to eat here or give as gifts when you return home.
I am going bananas for a spicy macademia crunch sauce & eat it on everything now. I also highly recommend the chocolate coconut cookies from Na'ike. Gonna order about 8 bags next week to take home as gifts (but prolly really will eat them on the plane, slowly, under my mask hahha). Delicious
