This was the best food truck experience! I ordered the chicken bacon Swiss (hot sandwich), it was soooo tasty! Husband ordered the Horner burger, and he loved it. Both came with fries. We walked up, ordered, and she said she’d bring it to us when it was ready. With 10 minutes we had our food, and would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Crazy busy during lunch but I felt that speed of service was still great. Burgers are thick, taste incredible and absolutely fill you up. Portions are generous. You order, wait, and then much on the curb or sit in your car and enjoy. We enjoyed on our way to an awesome hike up the canyon.

Mama Bears is a nice food truck option in Waimea for breakfast or lunch. I was there at lunch and enjoyed the Gourmet Burger, but really want to go back and try some of their great looking breakfast options!

I don’t do very many reviews but this was special. I love burgers, and every so often I come across a burger that I can stop thinking about. Momma Bear is one of those places. I got the Gourmet burger it was the bomb. I haven’t tried anything else from the truck but I’d be willing to bet everything on their menu is fantastic. Thanks again Momma Bear crew!

The fries were great. The Mahi grilled sandwich was disappointing. I was expecting a grilled sandwich not a tuna fish sandwich. Also, the menu said deep-fried pickle that I could not find. The other item we had was a grilled chicken Swiss. It was very good, very cheesy.
The parking lot had room for 5-6 cars and the road had extra room for maybe 4 more. The staff was friendly and the prices were fair.

We ordered the Smash Burger, Boujee Flatbread and French vanilla cold brew. The burger was yummy. Definitely better than the SmashBurger food chain burger, but would try something else next time. The Boujee flatbread was the better of the two choices. It had great flavor. Would recommend getting it. Both were $15 each. Not a bad price for the food.
