Updated: I've been using this place for the last two years and have never had a problem. This was going to be my third year year and today I drove for miles to bring my mower here and after telling the lady up front what I needed done to my mower she asked for a $50 deposit. Now I'm a(was a) repeat customer and I've never dropped anything off here or anywhere else and not pick it up. The biggest problem was I didn't bring a form of payment with me because I've never had to pay a deposit before and I wasn't about to drive home and drive back so I could give them a deposit. So I didn't drop the mower off and will have to find another shop to use. Also around September I'm going to be looking for a new chainsaw, I know where I won't be getting it. So take a form of payment with you so you can pay for service before you get it or you won't be able to drop it off. Good luck!

This is a great company to do business with. I spoke with Joe and he is extremely knowledgeable, offered very practical advice, and could not have been more helpful. A very "old school" approach to customer service, and it was very refreshing. Because of my experience this morning I will be taking all of my future business of the lawn care variety to Cahaba.

Bought a Riding Mower from them last year. Service was excellent, timely, and friendly. I have a large yard so I wouldn't be able to maintain it otherwise. The riding mower has seen heavy use, and experienced zero problems. I have also directed a few people to them for repairs and sales on equipment, and we all agree its the best service you can find in the entire Bham area.
Good family owned business like this is hard to come by nowadays!

Zero parts on hand. Couple weeks just to get a deck belt.

The person I spoke to in person ask me for model and serial number, when he realized I had the information with me he started in on " oh we will have order that belt" before I gave him the numbers. He apparently didn't have time to deal with me. His attempt at not being rude.
